Watched it last night on the firestick....I was pleasantly surprised! Had great action, some funny parts, and Gal played the role really will I think. 8/10
The group of super comic fan geeks behind me were bitching and moaning about feminists and this movie before it started. Where do you see "this strong push" as you call it.It was much better than I thought it was going to be. It is evident there is a strong push from the feminists in this one though.
Agreed. This felt like Wonder Woman being played just as she should be. She grew up on an island full of women generally taught that Man was over all not needed. That's part of her early personality until she learns to trust/befriend Superman/Batman. Shes strong, independent and compassionate. That's WHO she is.The group of super comic fan geeks behind me were bitching and moaning about feminists and this movie before it started. Where do you see "this strong push" as you call it.
I thought the movie was rather toned down on the feminism front.
Imagine trying to find someone to play PowerGirl properly. Not may women blonde, 5'11 with a slim body and natural E cups.Boobs on this actress are too small to be called wonder woman. I will wait until it comes out on Dvd.

Are not all of the comic book/super hero based movies popcorn flicks? I mean I don't walk into any of them expecting the profound sense of emotion that a movie like Schindler's List elicits. It was a popcorn flick, not bad, not great.
Good post Kendall. Is bugs bunny ever going to do a new one? I miss him.Are not all of the comic book/super hero based movies popcorn flicks? I mean I don't walk into any of them expecting the profound sense of emotion that a movie like Schindler's List elicits.

Well you had Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman reprise their roles in a way no one expected to happen. Plus there has been damn near 20 years of you (us) being invested in their character portrayal.
