I know Calvo has the General Orange TA with a TT setup, what have they run at the 1/2 mile?

Btw, 13Cobra, I almost cried when I saw an Orange TA for the first time.

Guess when I saw it? 2 hours after purchasing my Gunmetal Pearl Gen V and driving home to norcal. I was like, SON OF A!

Don't get me wrong, the Orange ones are awesome, but the white ones are more rare. I think white cars are pretty sexy when done right.

White really makes the Viper look elegant while still looking mean! If I were to get a Gen 5 it would have to be one of 3 colors.

White, Orange, or the light sky blue. Unfortunately I don't know the name of it.

That list was after qualifying, not all runs from the event.

It's been proven time and time again it takes awd and lots of HP to trap high at these types of events.

Don't get me wrong, that car is moving and is faster than anything I'll ever own, but it takes crazy power and the ability to put that power down efficiently to go fast at these events. Do you guys ever wonder why rwd cars never place at the top at these types of events?

You're comparing a 220 run with 800# of downforce to a 205 run with 2000+# of downforce.

Shine / Nth Moto's car went 200+ with the blue car with full Aero.... over a year ago. If people were building these cars for 1/2 mile (most viper owners are not) it wouldnt be an issue. Rest assured.

I know of a purpose built Gen III Viper that ran over 280mph, so yes, it can be done.

Who cares about production #'s. There is no shortage of vipers out there. If a viper was a superior platform to go fast, you'd see more at events like this.

So you say a viper will beat gtrs but not a lambos. Iirc the 1/2 mile record for gtrs is 255 while lambos are at 257... you're confident in placing the viper right between the two, or maybe you're speculating. I'm guessing you're just speculating.
