Normally I sleep 4-6 hours a night but usually once a week I can't sleep at all and end up being awake for about 28-31 hours straight. (Like tonight) Anyone else like this? It doesn't bother me that much but i know it can't be good for me but I can't get my mind to shut off sometimes.

I sleep between 6 and 8 hours. I used to have a crap load of trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Went and had a sleep study done and come to find out I have sleep apnea. Been wearing the stupid Vader mask for 2 years now and it is the best thing I've ever done for my health and sanity.

Weeknight about 6-7 hrs. In bed around 10 and I'm out cold when my head hits the pillow. Sounds dumb but I make lists. For everything. There's one on the table next to the bed. I jot down whatever's on my mind and it seems to stay on the paper and leave my mind. Been doing this for while. It works.

I started keeping a pad on my dresser years ago for this reason. There is also a sacred pen to write on said pad that the family knows better not leave my dresser.

I sleep okay, but one of my grown sons has terrible insomnia. A sleep doctor can help treat this. Not the sleep study kind for apnea, but a neurologist. There aren't any magic cures, but he was going sometimes days without any real sleep.

About 5-6 hours usually. I always set the alarm clock but i have always woke up about 10-15 mins before it goes off. Does not matter what time i set it too, i am up before it wakes me up.

I fall asleep around 1030-11 and get up for 5 for work. I sleep soundly but wake up feeling more tired than when I went to bed. when I was 14-15 years old I terrible insomnia. Wouldn't sleep at all most nights.

I try to work out for 45min to an hour. Doing cardio or something intense. I do p90x. I cant keep up with them but i try. I also also get off the computer/phone an hour or two before i want to go to bed. Those things help me.

Between 5-7 hours per night. I get up for work at 4:30 AM. It's hard to go to bed much before 9, especially with 2 young boys.

Interesting. I may try this. I read before bed but maybe I can do something more productive.

Typically between 7-8. But I used to sleep 3-4, tossing and turning all night. Generally there is too much on my mind. About 1/2 an hour before bed I'll take a 3mg melatonin, I might wake up once in the middle of the night. Plus we just bought a new bed, needless to say I am getting the best nights of sleep I've had since before priorities plagued my life.
