I signed up for a 10' x 20' storage place. It was a little expensive.
I store cars at my shop, not heated, $75 month for one vehicle or two vehicles for $100.
Does it fill up ? You could do $75 for 1, 125 for two, and buy a 4 post lift so you still only use one footprint, and someone else buys your lift. I wish I had someone around here that was that cheap.I store cars at my shop, not heated, $75 month for one vehicle or two vehicles for $100.

I used to rent two 10x20 storage units for cars at $70/each. I have since bought land and built a garage. Now the only cost is property tax and heating/cooling.
Make sure you pay your storage bill. That would be a heck of a score for someone if they had to auction off your locker.
Hey Goose,
It's just not that inexpensive in the northern suburbs of north Atlanta. I've looked. I am near the global headquarters of UPS, and the American Hd'q's of the Mercedes-Benz company.
I did the numbers around here which will require at least $300,000+ for a small property and who knows what to get a permit? I figure $400,000 in cash up front to buy one.
I paid up-front $162/month for a corner place for my 1995 Cobra R #113 (born 3-1-1995). The car looked happy to me:

I actually did this once with my first house (my first dwelling was a cabin). It had a two car attached garage, and I gave them a private key to the inside door to the garage door. It worked for about 5 years until they moved.Another option for you... buy a rental property nearby that either already has a stand-alone garage on the property or space to build one. Then when you rent the house, you have a lease that states the stand-alone garage is not for their use.

I am done with rentals. I bought a house near me after the crash of 2009. It was a great deal. My wife ended up signing up a friend of a friend of her's. The deadbeat renter always calls my wife with an excuse on the rent. The actual annual rent barely covers my expenses (the house is worth more than I paid).
