The 10spd auto with 3.55's is awesome. Every shift is about a 1k rpm drop keeping you right where you want to be in the power. She goes in for coilovers and adjustable struts next week, new tires getting mounted on the F14's, resonator delete ordered, and waiting on cervini grills to come in as well. Going to look very similar but I love driving it compared to the the long gears of my 6R80 with 3.15 rear gear.
Awesome man.
Can't wait to see it with the goodies on there. Going to look sick.

Nice. I too just purchased an 18' 10R80 w/3.55's and what a difference coming from a 6R80 with 3.15's.
Well I came from the M6 with 3.73, so way difference for me since this is my first auto in a non DD car. I test drove the A10 with the 3.15s months ago and I wasn't that impressed for being my first time driving one. When I test drove the car I purchased the past weekend with the 3.55, I was sold immediately. They rip so hard off the line.

I would be livid if someone drilled holes into the bumper of my $50k car. I’ve been explicit before with dealers that if they do it I’m not taking delivery.

I didn't special order mine. This was a dealer spec car so unfortunately not much I can do about it. My last car had them too. It seems like dealers in states that don't even require plates install them for some reason?

An unfortunate/fortunate situation happened to the last GT not even a month of owning it due to some dogs running in front of me so I had to get a new front bumper so my first request to the insurance company was to make sure they did not drill it which I was always happy about afterwards.

Tinted, washed, clay, waxed, removed front plates & made some plugs for it so far. I can't even turn my back without it getting covered in pollen so I done trying for now. Look at the side skirts, COVERED.View attachment 1484735
We have a bad pollen season in progress, too, but yours seems worse. Not a good time of the year for trying to keep your DD rides "clean". Back when I had my '03 Cobra, I used to carry one of those California Car Dusters in my car and used it multiple times per day during the pollen season.

Your GT is looking mighty good!

I bought my 16' in Auto form as back then I was planning on having to teach my oldest daughter to drive. Made the big mistake of getting the 3.15's with the 6R80 that did not go well with my 28.5"+ tall 305/35/20's making the gears crazy long. Fun factor on daily driving was basically zero with the 2-3 shift being near 80mph.

Overall the tranny is really cool keeping the car right in the 3k rpm range under normal load in sport mode.

Congrats on your purchase and the color is very striking.

Pollen is a PITA here too. So what mods are planned for this one?
I'm loving everything about this car and honestly have no taste for anything right now other than I will be doing a flex tune which seems to be making great numbers on these cars. From what I've been seeing, these cars with just the flex tunes have been making around 450-470whp/420ish tq.
