I I drink probably a gallon and a half to 2 gallons a day. And I have moved to another notch on my belt. If its water weight so be it
Remember you'll lose a good amount at first and hit periods where you'll stall for days and weeks at a time. Initial is a big hit from water weight and sudden reduction of carbs, you'll start to level out.

Been on it since the 14th of this month and still want the boos bad. Probably from dealing with children at work and a child at home. On the other side of things I'm down from 245 to 226.5. I'm going to keep pressing on at least till August 14 since I have a bet with a 350 dollar pot.

I’ve done a lazy keto the last month and a half. I switched from bud light/modelo to Mich Ultra (6 pack 4-5 days a week), fast on breakfast, and salad with homemade keto Caesar and 2 HEB poblano cheddar sausages for lunch and dinner for the most part.

I’ve dropped from 250 to 226 in that time. Now if I can get strict on keto I might be able to drop to below 200 (haven’t been there in almost 10 years).

Where are you slipping up? Set your carb goals for 20 per day, and if you slip up, stay under 35, no exceptions. I've only dropped 10lbs in 2.5 weeks but I feel like I am losing more now than I was at the beginning (maybe took a little while to get into ketosis)

The beer. But when I had quit drinking last year I replaced it with a ton of sugary things. So interestingly enough I’ve lost more weight by changing the beer as opposed to quitting.

Making a low carb calzone tonight! Really excited for this one. Used a mozzarella/almond flour blend for the dough, pepperoni and salami inside with a small amount of pizza sauce and cream cheese, and more mozzarella cheese. It is in the oven as we speak, will let you know how it comes out.

It makes 8 servings, each with about 5g of carbs. Could easily be made as a pizza as well.

This thread and a couple guys from work have inspired me to try the Keto diet. I’m 5 days in. I peed on the stick tonight and there are ketones in my urine. Off to a good start. I’m 225lbs and the goal is 185. My wife is really supportive, researching meals and cooking methods.

Question, I’m a little confused how to calculate my recommended daily fat intake. What’s the rule or suggestion?

I went on vacation last weekend to Charlotte for the Coke 600 and went off the rails for 3 days. I ate whatever I wanted. I had a headache most of those days with carbs and felt bloated the whole time. The food was good but damn. Gained 3lbs back lol. So far I'm back on track with no keto flu. If you get keto flu, try drinking water with some pink salt in it. It helped me. Had my cholesterol checked last week. Everything was good. I need to get my HDL up. It was a little low. I think it was 36 and they want it over 50.

I can totally feel when my body is in ketosis.

For me It’s a pretty unique feeling. Dry mouth... thirsty, a little irritable, achy eyes.
