the RS3 is PURE BADASS! The only flaw it has in my eyes is that it is a little too small. If it was the size of an A4 I'd jump in head first
It definitely is. With slight mods,.......insane. Car pulls like a beast.
Check out this video done not too far from my house, about 20 minutes away. (Best with headphones.)

Never in a million years would I think you’d like a car called an RS3...

Just ordered a 2019. Gonna trade my hellcat in for it. I’m sick of 4400lb cars and can’t wait to rock a 3500lb car again, and mod the piss out of it. Plenty of these beasts rolling around running 9’s on the stock motor/trans

Nice video. When you went into the harsh mode, I instantly thought of my G70 test drive on Thursday when I should have tried out the Sport mode. Next drive. LOL.

That RS3 is a beast. 0-60 in 3.5 seconds! Over my budget, but the price is pretty decent IMO based on what you're getting.

That's awesome man. Congrats. Post pics when you get it.
How long does the ordering/delivery process take with Audi? I assume it's a longer than normal wait, say 2 months or more?
What options did you go with?

lol
It definitely is a beast Bob.
I assume the G70 is pretty beastly in the different modes as well.

I see no problem with your decision. Hell you got guys here that won't buy a dodge because a Plymouth breeze or dodge stratus was a pos back in the day lol.

Also it's pathetic that the same posters are allowed to derail your threads the way they do.

after owning a tahoe and a mustang for 6+ years, decieded it was time to upgrade. Got a mercedes and will probably never be able to go back. Sold off my paid off mustang not too long ago. Simply didn't drive or nor enjoy driving it as much after the benz.

Will do. There was a period where all the ‘19 orders were on hold. But it appears they are making the ‘19’s and shipping them now. Expecting the car in May, but knowing it could be June at least. Pretty much checked all the options and went with Daytona grey pearl, and plan on wrapping it matte. Audi still does custom colors but won’t do a matte color in this car. I spend almost all of my driving time with my kids in the car and miss having a lighter car.

Don't worry OP, we all grow up at some point in time. You'll get there someday.

I bounce back and forth between German cars and American cars. Currently in a German car but eagerly awaiting to get in a new gt500.

Do you know what all the custom colors are? I think there's 3 or 4 of them? I'd like to see what they look like.
I'll do a Google search if you know what the color names are. I'd love to see what they are and what they look like. I think one is a custom Orange and another is a custom blue? Thanks!

Hey, King black, I don't have a clue what the significance is of the often mentioned 17 page whatever. And I'm not trying to be a thread derailer. But I stumbled across a weird Nostradamus-like oddity.

If a guy works for $17 an hour it takes exactly 1.7 years to earn the exact price of an Audi RS3 including freight and standard fees.

There is no way this can be chalked up to coincidence. If you are writing off Ford it seems that the RS3 should be at the top off the list. Even derailers would have to approve.

yeah the RS3 is an amazing car. my only issue with it is the size. but, I'm in a transition period at the moment. I'll likely be buying another house later this year if things happen they way that they look to be shaping up.

things only get complicated by the fact that cars are built so much better nowadays, it is really difficult (for me) to justify getting a new one every 5 years. I have a Focus ST that I honestly cannot justify getting rid of. zero issues with it, garage kept, looks new etc. Plus not having a car payment ++++

People (IMHO) almost have to look at a car as a longer term investment today vs the way we did 10 years ago. Unless someone drives 20k miles a year or more, the 5 year rule may be a thing of the past for most people.

I'm really looking at my next purchase as a 6 year investment. So I am not going to shop the same as I have in the pass. I'll have at least 3 cars, 4 if I keep the ST. So...I'm guessing by the end of the year, I'll be in another house, have the foxes and either get something nice for long term (M4 is looking really good right now) or save for another year and go for a 992 911. I'm okay with saving up and waiting, because I can honestly say (proudly) that I have yet to get tired of or bored by the Focus ST. Good product, but I can't stand dealing with the local dealerships for service etc
