The last couple of years I've seen a few of these around $50k which to me seems like a good deal and tempting. These cars are one of the true real special modern day classics.

If I remember correctly, those had thousands of miles...

Yup but they were still low mileage. I think your $80k is spot on but I wouldn't be shocked if it hit $100k.

not at my post...
I had a chance to buy one years ago for around 30K (think around 2006,2007), it was tracked quite a bit and had some light body damage. My buddy had bought on impulse and decided he wanted to sell it not long after. Man I wish that I had bought that car! Brings me to tears even thinking about it.

Definitely one of the coolest...and most under appreciated modern day limited run cars. Their time is coming...sooner than later.

That will make a nice prize catch for someone. Owning a 2000-R is good with average mileage, but 136 miles is special.

Goose, what's the mileage on your 2000-R?

I'd rather own one with some race heritage, not a garage queen. That's just me though.
Me too, id rather have one with a couple scars and ill add to those scars. Even my 34k mile cobra was too nice for me and I worried about every little scratch, never again.

A lot are buying these for an investment. As far as value goes on any race car, I'll take racing history vs low miles every time.

Any of you 00R guys happen to know which R has the most mileage? Did anyone daily drive one for its lifetime?

I know, my point was Im not interested in owning mint investment vehicles, I like drivers that can take a beating.

Im not convinced vehicle prices will stay high given the new age of people being born into soy lattes and face painting.
