Hey Nick,

What is the deal with rent charges and residual value for a lease? Where and when are rent charges paid for? Does residual value include these rent charges or are they paid within the monthly payments?

I don't have a clue what "rent" charges you speak of.

Sorry, I meant the "finance" charges that are charged for the loan by whoever leases out the car. I believe a money factor is part of that calculation but it ends up being the interest charges against the balance of the cost of the vehicle after down payment.

The money factor is just the interest rate. You aren't leasing it at 0%. It's built in to the payment every month.

Name of your store please?

Sure you're looking at the right site? I only have three 2018 Super Cabs; they're all new.

Why you selling Tob’s old car, thought you bought that for your dad ?

My dad likes to have his cars on the website..not necessarily to sell them, just have something to show people I guess.

I think his McLaren is on there too, and he wouldn't sell it today lol

Send me a PM with the VIN and miles, along with any known issues and I'll get you a value within 5 minutes.

What do you think about this price wise? I'm trying to get out the door at $30k. Not sure how places do with used cars, always bought used from private owners.

Autotrader - page unavailable

One owner lease. That's a steal.

It would retail for $33,500-34,300 in less than 48 hours on my lot.

EDIT: Kinda interesting to see that for sale. It wasn't a lease, it looks like it was a factory truck. Typically those are destroyed. The window sticker even says "NOT FOR SALE".

I usually see the longer bed trucks sit longer around here. They have dropped the price around $500 since the first time I saw it.

I might go look at it Friday if they still have it then.

Thanks

Don’t think you can haggle price at Echo Park. If I remember correctly they are a set price dealership.
Good to know. I emailed about it and they are supposed to call me with their lowest otd price. If it's more than 30k then I'll let the next guy have it. The good thing about not needing a new vehicle is the ease in walking away.

Let us know how it goes. They have some pretty decent listed prices as is so if they have wiggle room to negotiate I would check them out next time I need a DD.
