Just nothing reckless about the car. Miss Daisy could drive it and I don't like that part. lol

Looks like OP has got a bunch of guys here trying to justify how much like a new GT500 their Terminator is. The bar has been raised and you can mod all year long but in the end it'll still be a 17 year old car trying to live up to it. This new GT500 has totally different DNA from bumper to bumper, the overall sophistication and engineering is generations ahead, and 90% of those that think their Terminator is in the same league won't admit this until (if ever) they drive/own one. In 5 years let's ask those that did.
For those that insist on having a manual transmission, you can opt for the GT350 or GT350R.
If I wanted to be slow I would buy a Chev....
This thread is incredible. Like high tens/low elevens is some kind of magic pixy dust. Me thinks the OP is going to get his feelings hurt lots in his 90k Mustang. That is if he takes it out of his garage ever.
Why not consider the value too? If somebody was to trade up rather than mod up, they would absolutely use their trade/sell value in that equation.Did you really add the cost of the cobra into the equation? I highly doubt anyone is going to rush out and spend 20k on a car to build it to compete with the new gt500...
You're right, not the same. Equal or betterlol, I don't think one person on this forum ever said these two cars are the same in any way shape or form.
...A mild cobra nowadays is..what..650hp.....and usually has the suspension and tires to go with it and a driver that has considerable seat time.....
....but I foresee more butthurt for the new owners then anything for the next little while.
Is it safe to say that a 650-700rwhp terminator should be a good race from 40-130?
A 700whp terminator should trap mid 130s with a good driver and theoretically be slightly faster down the 1/4 than this GT500.
Terminator > 2020 GT500
The Terminator is being compared to a 2020 GT500
That's says it all
This thread would be like member badcobra starting a "public awareness warning" in the 2020 gt500 section: 2020 GT500 owners: mod heavily or avoid the badcobra!
Congrats but... attention, while well deserved, isn't any measure of performance. The topic is Terminator & 2020 GT500 performance, right? And why even mention a GT here? And my car attracts more attention than any riced out GT of any year.
I am not one to get into pissing matches with people about mine or yours is better.
BINGO! Stevie Wonder said he saw right through it too. Then why did you start this one?
Oh man I missed that gem. Then why did you start this one?

Lol the title of the thread is literally mine is better than yours.
Man, you guys are funny for sure. Have me cracking up. However, I think Goose can make the comparison because he "OWNS" both.
It's like if you were banging Cher and Cindy Crawford. You would be able to say which is better and why. Then you could tell your friends to stop banging Cher and get with Cindy Crawford because she is younger, faster, more flexible and can go longer and harder ROFLMAO!!!!

By the time you buy an 03/04 cobra at todays price. Say $28k or so, add the built motor, upgrade alternator, cooling system, blower upgrade with full supporting mods, full return fuel system, full exhaust, transmission upgrades needed to handle the 700hp plus, full suspension, irs level 5 half shafts, add that shop labor rate to install it all. You are basically at the same cost as a 2020 gt500.
Just seen this on YouTube.
What the hell? This guy looks like he is 12 and picking up a 2020 GT500??? He also mentions he has a 2014 GT500 and a GT350. Damn, guess I should be working harder to afford all those high-end Mustangs LMAO!!!
Not sure I like it all black. Needs some color IMO ………..
Also, don't think I would have drove it 2000 miles home. Too many rock chips doing that.
He also has a second GT500 on order.
He drove it straight down to my neck of the woods and ran it on the dyno (numbers not yet released) as well as the drag strip. He was able to go from the dealer to the strip with no mods and run a 10.66.Just seen this on YouTube.
