I just don’t understand why people need to bring their damn dogs everywhere. Pisses me off EVERY time!

Get a life! Build relationships with humans you bunch of damn emotionally needy snowflakes!

Why own a dog if you wouldn’t want to take them everywhere?

Dogs in stores has gone way off of the tracks. I’ve been in a restaurant where a guy brought in a dog that I could smell from ten feet away. Let’s also remember that some people are allergic to animals. I feel that there needs to be better regulations on this.

Here they are not allowed where there is food.
Not if it’s a service dog, the ADA is regulated federally to allow true service animals to go where ever their owner is. The key is you generally should even notice the dog is there.

in most cases a service dog that is properly trained knows to tuck its self away and not make a sound unless needed to alert their owner of something that pertains to why they are there in the first place.

reality though, many abuse the system and because there is no registry or badging to prove what is a real SD or not many places are scared to challenge a person for fear of repercussions if they were wrong. Generally though the dogs and owners behavior are a dead give away. Majority of dogs aren’t cut out for SD work anyway.

100% agree!

I love dogs and most other animals but Jesus I don’t need my dog every place I go. Totally unnecessary, and inconvenience for everyone else in the store.
Some bitch brought her small dog on the last plane I took, had it in a cage under her seat, and the ****ing thing barked for 5hrs straight!!! So annoying! Gtfo with that noise.

Half of the restaurants here allow dogs. There is a brewery around the corner that I used to love and they turned it dog friendly and I stopped going. There's literally dog hair floating around the place while you eat.

I refuse to eat at restaurants that are dog friendly. For one, I'm allergic to dog hair/dander. I also won't stay at a dog friendly hotel, for the same reason.

Dogs are better than humans.

Maybe for those who need such “reassurance”...but, for the rest of the World...I’ll take interactions with humans, over an animal who eats its own $hit and buries its nose in other dogs asses. Then I watch their owners let them lick their faces...

Lol sounds exactly like what many humans do. Just walk into a Walmart or in this case the OP target. I guess you just prefer human shit over dog shit.

And that’s just it. People take advantage and abuse privileges. Give them an inch and they’ll take a foot. My observation in Target the other day was just a small sampling of what I have seen from the inconsiderate populace. Your story reminds me...we have a small terrier/chihuahua mix and took him from Vegas to Cleveland round trip at thanksgiving this year. No one even knew because we handle our business as to not be inconsiderate to others...I wish they would return the favor. He didn’t make a sound.

Here’s another thing that drove me crazy yesterday...cold and flu season. I am very careful...I get a flu shot, wash my hands regularly, carry hand sanitizer in my car and coat pocket just in case, and I try to keep my hands away from my face. I walked into the gas station yesterday to exchange my propane tank and the girl ringing me up (she had a cold) sneezed into her hands and continued ringing me up. Wtf!?!?!

Your mom
The service dog thing has gotten out of control.

So many people abuse the rule so they can just take their pets everywhere.

With all the travel I do, almost every trip to the airport results in me seeing some dumbass who bought a "Emotinal Support Animal" vest off the internet or from the local pet store (yep, check next time you go to one) and slapped it on their chihuahua or labradoodle or whatever so they can take Mr. Snuggles wherever they want.

These are the same douchebags who drive grandpa's Buick to the store and then park in the handicap space using paw-paw's tag, if they use a tag at all.

Real service animals are easy to spot. They will stay right up against their owner/handler and remain out of sight laying down under the table or chair, etc.

As said before, there is no registry for any service animal and I support a federal register where the animal has to be licensed.

That will stop this stupid ass "emotional support animal" BS.
