Challenger increases by 50% while the others dropped by 10% and 25% while investing hundreds of millions in new tooling. So tell me, who's the idiot that's out of touch with what consumers want?
The Challanger is an inferior car to the Mustang and Camaro as a sports car. Both the Camaro and Mustang have much more sophisticated technology in it and offer a superior driving experience. The Challenger doesn't have a great crash test rating despite its large size either. FCA was planning to have it on a new platform in 2019 and 2021 but now that is being pushed back further. BTW, FCA also spend hundreds of millions on tooling on the LX platform and the plant where it is made. Don't assume it is a cash cow for them.
