Lol they literally egged him on to do it.. I don’t know about anyone else, but the last thing I’m doing it taunting someone with a gun pointed in my direction. Funny how we have 2 instances in less than a year's time of dumbasses egging someone on with a gun and then them getting exactly what they asked for. Kenosha Kyle and now this guy.

If anything the wife then is the most “manly” she took the most rounds and talked the most shit with out backing down. The shooter is still the pussy because he needed the gun to confront them.

Guy was clearly “bullied” by these neighbors. What’s especially telling is that what started the confrontation was the couple shoveling their snow onto the guys driveway as he was also trying to clean up his area. Then the husband had to toss the scrapper at the navy guy... lol.

That couple earned every bit of that Karma.

The first day on the job I learned you can keep your milk (small cartons from previous meals) somewhat cold by letting it float in your toilet. lol

I'm just about the same. I live in a decent area but the homeless problem and the drug problem is so bad that the homeless keep getting forced south out of Seattle through the valley and they have finally started showing up here. I carry to the dumpster which is out near a big field and trail by the river where the homeless camp out. I often find them at the dumpster or hanging out near it so I never go without my carry. When my ex lived with me, we would have to take the dog out to the field late at night and there was one instance where this one homeless guy started following us through the field. I told my ex to get the dog and start heading back and I pulled my gun and followed her while keeping eyes on this guy who was about 50 yards away and appeared to be trying to close the gap on us. The guy technically hadn't done anything wrong, but it scared the shit out of my girlfriend at the time and I didn't exactly have a great gut feeling about it either. It was around that time also that two homeless people had gotten in a fight on that trail and one of them stabbed the other to death so there is plenty of reason to be concerned and stay strapped.

We took a family vacation last year to San Antone around Christmas time. It was the wife and I, step son, two step daughters, one with her fiancé, my daughter, daughter in law, and two grand daughters. We walked everywhere and I noticed the homeless problem was so much worse since the last time I was down there.

What really bothered me was the lack of awareness in the step son and the boyfriend, you could just tell they weren’t paying attention, while I was scanning and sizing up everyone we were walking past. Not to say these two wouldn’t have done anything if something happened, but they were happy to play defense while I was playing offense the best I could.

We’ll be sticking to the beach from now on for vacations.

On another occasion I took my daughter to downtown Austin and the same shit. Homeless population had exploded. She was playing better defense then the other two were in SA.

I guess I did something right since she has situational awareness.

That ghetto had no HAO. The idiots shot were actually parking on their front yard (grass).

Most of the Rust Belt does not have HAOs and when they do, they are very weak.

There was a driveway. Albeit small but still a driveway.

In the words of Spock from TWOK, there are three possibilities why they parked on the lawn: Monday night/early Tuesday morning was when the brunt of the storm was forecast to occur so being on a hill chances are they didn't want to park on the street so as not to get hit by another car, get hit/snowed in from the plow trucks or it could had something to do with ordinances during a snow emergency.

It's a really hard thing to teach someone and girls and younger people in general are notoriously bad at it. They'll often walk down a busy street with their head buried in their phone, not paying attention to anything going on around them and it makes them easy targets. I remember one of my seniors in the Marines talking to us about it and giving that exact example of what not to do, and what that indicates to people around you who may be looking to do harm. It makes you look like an soft target. You should walk around with confidence like you are ready to fight anyone, and if you are lost somewhere or are doing touristy things don't ever display that to anyone around you. Act like you know exactly where you are and where you are going because it will give the impression that you know your shit and if they think you know your shit then they might believe you are aware that it is a bad area but you went out there anyways so you must be prepared and that could mean you are armed. Often that can be enough to thwart a mugging, assault, etc since the first thing muggers look for is someone not paying attention or someone who looks weak or lost. Fake it til you make it basically.
