I bought a 07 GT500 and the previous owners said the car was 600 RWHP. I not sure of this it has a 2.6 Metco upper ported Eaton M122 and TB from Steggy JLT CAI and longtube headers . It runs great but not sure about his Dyno numbers.

....

Then take it and get it re-dyno'd. Seems simple. Probably would've taken as long as it did to register for this site, then start a thread.

it's possible I guess, I've read about a 2007 with 556 Hp and 547 Tq with just the the 2.6 and a CAI. Maybe it's closer to 575?

600 is a stretch with just long tubes, CAI and a 2.6 pulley. Boost-a-pump, injectors, and triple pass and you might see 560-570 tops, would be my guess. With what you say you have, I am saying 530ish at the wheels.

The point is, you bought a modified boosted car.
Unless you can datalog and self check the tune, you’d be wise to have a dyno health check. Plus you get to know the numbers.
Whatever it is, you’ll probably want more :)

No, no you don't.

Your address is public on this forum.

OP dumb move. But Seriously 13Cobra? I guess it's time for me to make a burner email for this site. That escalated real quick. Not cool.

Go onto the street and use a draggy and make a pass. Ur 60 foot or 1/4 mile time wont mean anything all u need is MPH/Weight of car. Simple.

He posted his address, I wish I was a few blocks away from a dyno.

That is a nice, round number (600) so it is definitely suspect to being not actual. Maybe rounded up. It is really difficult to guesstimate whether that is spot on, so yeah, it makes complete sense to visit that local dyno to confirm. Be aware, though, that dynos can vary, numbers wise. I would more want to visit that dyno to check the tune, so that you're 100% confident it is optimal/safe and whatever the hp/tq numbers are, they're just numbers.

Then enjoy the hell out of your newly acquired GT-500.

A dyno is a snapshot:
That day.
That time.
That temp..
That dyno operator......................Call the shop, make an appointment, take the car out for a nice ride,...............& know for sure..

Seller probably rounded up. I did 550 with headers, CAI and a 2.4. My guess is you are at the same level ported with a 2.6. What is your peak boost?

I hit 577 RWHP w/ a 2.40" upper, CAI, Posi Ported Eaton.
Added a VMP throttle body and L&M plenum and hit 586 RWHP.
Added a 10% Lower pulley and longtubes and hit 629 RWHP.

OP, with the mods you describe, I can see it approaching 600 RWHP. May of been a little bit of a "happy" dyno, I've certainly been on a couple of them!
