No, but would it shock you that by reading what other members are posting and I am seeing locally, a picture can be seen?
Dude that is way less than 1% of anecdotal information. That would be what is known as a local observation or a local picture that you are seeing.

People in Chicago would say Illinois is a dangerous shithole. Those downstate would disagree - well they may agree it is a shithole, but not necessarily dangerous.

I mean sure, a picture can be seen....but an accurate picture? Nah.

We'll see what happens. The current picture sure looks like abundant new car and truck inventory. The OEM's have to move inventory to pay for EV's. EV discounting already started. Rates are pinching, we'll see what promotions come out.

Guess we'll see! Down here most dealerships are at 20-30% pre-covid inventory levels. I usually stock 120-145...I have 13 on the ground as of this second.

Oh look, I am already too late in my prediction, LOL. Cally is aggressive across a couple of OEM's.

The 2022 Ford Edge continues to have the best financing deals on a midsized SUV with zero interest for 6 years plus a $3,000 cash incentive. Even the sporty Edge ST is eligible for this head-turning deal.

Ford Edge deals can vary by region and the example here is for California. We consider this one of the most deeply-discounted SUVs that you can buy.

That's wild. I wonder how many new 2022s they have left sitting on the lots in California. I attached the California Vincent and the Midwest Vincent for comparison.

That is interesting, even the GMC dealer here is almost full to precovid. Although, they got bought out by a big chain, hard to know what they will stock too now. Their pricing went from volume to premium take it or leave it.

13 is better than zero, I would wager you are better at combining ordering and price than others. I know from my F-150 purchase experiance that almost all the dealers would not talk price unless I brought my trade in. That's a 180 from covid buying my wife's Lincoln.

I think it really just comes down to doing what's right regardless. Life is just so much easier being black/white about everything.

Nick does dealer size play into you getting vehicles? How do you only get 13 in stock vs say Louisburg Ford where they says they have 170 in stock and another 40 in transit on their website?

Oh that's fair enough. It is interesting that what I was seeing locally was mirrored by other members across the USA. The MN job market is still smoking hot, so the inventory buildup is interesting to figure out.

Fun fact, when I started selling power sports after I retired from the Air Force, the owner called me Sgt Slaughter, he said I had no grey in any answers I gave, LOL.

Well up until September...you would have a stock allocation, and then you would get additional retail allocation for ordered units. Now, they took away the additional retail allocation. So all retail units come out of stock allocation as well. Our allocation is finally starting to grow back to what it was, but I'm still 80-85% customer orders, and by the time the 15-20% stock units come in, they're sold. Definitely a good position to be in, but I just want more haha

Local Ford dealership around here just offered 7,000 off msrp AND 0% for 72 months on f-150s.

1. I misheard, and I don’t think thats it.
2. There’s 3 trucks to choose from.
3. Profit?

Weather is the only person on this site who

1. Knows more about the car market than a dealership owner

2. Knows more about crypto but has never had it

3. Knows more about Ukraine but doesn’t live there

Preach bro. Hilarious these types won’t engage many directly either. Lmfao

It was City Ford in Columbia City.
Their site definitely does not match the radio commercial.

Must be an out of date radio commercial. For Columbia City, there is a $1,000 rebate and 7.9% for 72 months on F-150s.
