I know I'm hangin' with the right group. Because most of you are over 30 and you still get excited about toy cars.
This new school doesn't even care about real cars. One of my cousins was like 18 or 19 before my uncle forced him to get a license. Model cars are surely a joke to them.

My uncle is 12 years older than me Lambeau. He was like you and into hot wheels and stuff. Every time my Dad would take me to my grandpa's house my uncle would always give me a hot wheel. I loved going to grandpa's house LOL....

So, you can blame my uncle for me turning out to be a big kid who loves diecast stuff LOL.

Costco usually gets them a little closer to Christmas, the most I've ever seen is an allotment of 4 per store. I've only been to one Sam's around me but they don't have the pallet of Maisto cars out yet, only a small section on a rack. The oddball colors are great to get cheap, planning to paint them the missing colors later.

Yeah Bob, not looking to fork over $75+ for an $18 car just yet. :p
I hear ya. Back in my diecast collecting day, fellow collectors were very happy to fork over $500+ for a $79.99 (low volume) Nascar RCCA Elite diecast. Truth! Fun times back then. This one surely isn't a low volume release of under 1,000 pieces. LOL.
