It should surprise some people plus I really wanna hear how it sounds with the full exhaust on. Vipers have always had the funky sounds to them because they have a weird firing order and the exhaust never crosses via an H or X pipe...I'll have it running out the down pipes then through a 3" X pipe and through 3" Borla mufflers. If nothing else it will sound nothing like a Mustang...I can always tell people it's a built V6 ;)

I was going to say the exact same thing. I will be really eager to hear how it sounds. I am about to buy a 96 GTS and that is my biggest complaint is that it sounds like crap. I will subscribe to see what it sounds like running through the X.

Great Job on the entire build by the way, I love seeing projects like this especially when it is done by folks that have great attention to detail.

Whitten - I hear ya man, they have a unique sound cause of their bizarre firing order...but we also know how big of a role pipe length, diameter, and orientation makes in the overall sound of the car. I am really excited to hear how it sounds. Good luck with the purchase of your 96 GTS:coolman:

AZSnake98 - I agree

I cant wait to hear this beast on initial startup. Whats the gauge on the firewall? Fuel pressure?

Thanks a lot guys

pat-b Nothing taken the wrong way man, the k-member looks a little flimsy in those pics but it's actually 1 1/2" x 1/8" wall chromoly tubing and then there are two more braces that bolt in one the motor is in place. There is no good way to get pics of that though. I've used that exact same tubing on any bike frames I've built also, it's really strong stuff

1992sc50 Yep it's a fuel pressure gauge. I put one there on every mustang I've worked on. It makes it easy to see when adjusting pressure and I personally think it looks better the the rail mount units or ones directly on the FPR

kevin01cobra Yes, yes I am :coolman:

Are you going to have it up and running by summer? Your not to far away to go see it. You kick-ass for doing some thing like this.
