granny shifting = shifting while lifting your foot off the gas
double clutching = used to be used in cars with non-synchronized transmissions (aka "crash" transmissions). If downshifting It involves putting in the clutch, moving the gearshift to neutral, releasing the clutch, blipping the throttle, putting the clutch back in, and then shifting to the next gear.
