Not arguing that, as it was what I was saying earlier. I know the Mach is faster, I am just saying through the 1/8th it will be alot closer then many people realize!
Tyler
It's even closer in the 330...maybe you should narrow it down further!!!
I can agree with that comment.....about it being closer than most realize. THe same goes for the 03 cobra and Mach from a dig. Not saying the mach will win, but closer than most think.
I won't reply to the above (not that I didn't read it), just I think it would be a moot point. I will admit, my mindset goes straight to 1320 not the 1/8th. That was my error. Best case scenarios between the two the mach will be ahead at the marker by roughly 2 lengths and will only get uglier if it went a full 1320.
Shall we leave it at that?
That point is just a last ditch effort to make something sound better than it really is.
Thats the same as saying at first a one legged man would keep up with an olympic runner but the more they run the worse it would get......Well no shit. One is slower than the other!

HI-jack...when you taken M.A.'s Mach next?...oh, and when is the 95 getting tuned?...Saturday? I forget. :bash:
Uh what?. THe more you post, the more I wonder how much you know. I mean, I understand you have a kickass LS and cobra....but are you seriously trying to tell me that an LS M6 'MAY ONLY' run a 105 TS?:??::shrug::nonono:
A average STOCK LS1 car will run low 13s@105-106 anything better than that and its due some killer weather/driving etc... Its nice that you guys think so highly of the LS1 but get real....It is superior to LT1s and any N/A 4v cobra/mach1 period .
How do you figure? My 99 Cobra BONE STOCK ran 13.5 in the 1/4th and 13.1 with 4.10 gears. I ran a Mach 1 with paper filter to a 13.2 the first time ever driving it on the track or any Mach 1 for that matter. So again, how is the LS1 superior in the 1/4th?

LS1's do have the edge, but it all depends on driver stock for stock, one error can cause the whole race. They are superior for modding and all of the above since they still have a lot left to do, 32Valves need boost for power. Then again, you can make a fast car without a lot of mods or power. There was a Mach1 with full exhaust, 4.10 gears, slicks (yea i know), tune, & intake and he was in the mid 12's, dont remember the trap speed thought (I think it was around 107). But about the LT1 getting a 2.1 60' ft spinning badly :bs: (if it was stock, even then....). Spinning badly would most likely get you in the 2.3.Haha your questioning my intelligence:lol1: . I had a ls1 car that yanked the tires 1 foot of the ground and was capable of mid 6s in the 1/8th, i fully know what the ls1 is capable of and there is no doubt it is far superior to the LT1. My buddy of course is not the best driver in the world id say hes a fair/average driver. I have more mods than he does and im much lighter, and i still got beat. i dont know whats so hard to believe here. My point is the LT1 isnt a turd and can hang with faster cars for a fraction of the price....never said it was superior or equal. And my LT1 went 8.93@80 with a 2.1 60 spinning badly.

Uh.....Aside from the the TS, where did I question anything you stated about Ls's? my reference to your knowledge was targeted at your comments of machs. My fault for not clarifying that. The only 105-106 TS's I've seen for an LS, were Auto's. It's not uncommon AT ALL for M6's to trap 107-109. As Stopsign said above, how is one car 'superior' to another if their ET avgs are lot to mid 13s (manuals)?Haha your questioning my intelligence:lol1: . SHADDUP smartass.:beer:It just is...why can't you understand.. epper:
low-mid 13s for an M5 mach is the avg. so, 13.2 is right in there with the norm. TS is just a sign of power. :shrug:Dang, your just a regular Evan Smith there huh? What did that Mach Trap?
It just is like stated above, it just is....
Tyler
actually...with those mods, low 12s is very possible, given it's a true full exhaust and a good tune. LOLLS1's do have the edge, but it all depends on driver stock for stock, one error can cause the whole race. x11 billion...
FWIW a 13.2 in a bone stock Mach 1 doesn't make Stopsign Evan Smith..
