What do you mean? In terms of physical location, yes they are close. But relative to a "schematic" routing, they are far from each other.

That sensor is very sensitive !
Just imagine the amount of movement at the filter location . Especially from a F1 . So just imagine the amount of movement - feedback being sent to your computer .

Oh you mean the filter HITTING the MAF?

no dude, they mean that theres a curve in the pipe right before your Mass air sensor, which means the air is going to be a little inconsistent in that area which means your air sensor readings are going to be jumpy which means tuning is gonna be rough and you might have driveability issues. Take out ur air sensor, make that a straight curve and put the sensor right before your throttle body, so theres straight pipe with consistent air hitting the sensor.

Easier said than done. Its what I wanted to do (and what I said in an earlier post), but we'll see how she drives. I know of others who have it this way.

The radiator and the intercooler will need to be upgraded ! You will see soon enough .
