KBB seems to be on the low end for your car, NADA is a lot closer and includes the vehicle's condition as well as credit for low mileage which for a '03 Cobra such as yours is a bit over $5K on top of the average value.

TTT for a needle in a haystack.

Fair deal for someone that likes Zinc yellow. That price is around what I just gave for an '03 with 7,200 miles. I think that you can sell it for that.

TTT for you!

Norman, didn't anyone jump on this yet?

Hi Deanpug, Unfortunately, No. I sent you a PM for possibly some tips and or pointers to help since I know you've sold two or three yellow Cobras during the whole time my thread has been up on here. The funny part is our prices has been similar, with my car sporting half the mileage.. :??: Perhaps, I am not as "seasoned" of a salesman as how I think you are. :) Thanks, Norm

Thanks. Yes, it is possible that the Zinc color is a deterrent, but then again it is still a beautiful stand-out example of a very well preserved '03 Cobra with no pulley nor tune. I know of several others that have sold during the whole time my thread has been up, and they had almost twice the mileage with similar asking prices. I know there is not too many original owner '03-'04 Cobras left nowadays with that low of a mileage which has not been pullied and tuned yet.

sent you a message on sunday regarding the car.no answer.

I never got the message. Where did you send me the message at because I am certain it was not by a private message on here. Did you e-mail me at an e-mail address that may have been incorrect? What e-mail address did you use?

I apologize for being slow to see all the recent messages for I do not keep an eye on it regularly lately considering the length of time that my thread has been up with no bites.

If you want to reach me again, please forward the e-mail to HomeboyNorm at Aol dot com.

Thanks.

Price went up?

Who said the price has gone up? It is still at $25,900. I began the thread a long time ago at something like $27 or 28k, and have been steadily reducing it to the price that it is at now. I had a moderator change the price in my title multiple times to try and gather more interest to no avail. I am willing to take a loss of over $10,000 considering the car years in age, however with only 4,8xx miles driven as of today. I've started to drive the car more and more over the past several months because I feel that my mint Cobra is not going any where yet. If no one wants to buy it, then I might as well start driving it more. The problem is I have three children in the household, so we always take our Excursion SUV instead on our outings. I have only four seatbelts in the Cobra with 5 members in the family verus 7 or 8 seatbelts available in the SUV. My Cobra is more of a personal toy that I take out one weekend a month if not every other month or so.

Thanks for inquiring though.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is a very nice car, and since you are almost local to my home in Pasco county.. Perhaps, I should show it to you in person (what's 50 extra miles round trip on my already very low mileage Cobra to see you, :-D), so that you can say in my thread right here, "I personally saw the car, and boy it is really what Norman say it is."

Not a bad price at all actually-i've been looking for a cobra to buy and for the mileage and such yours is the best priced by far-people are asking that much for cars with 50,000+ on them. Good luck!

Yeah, thank you for your statement. I paid close to $35,000 for this fine automobile not including what I paid for the two bolt on modifications and misc. billet trim pieces. I will be taking about a $10k loss just because it is a few years old now. It does show as well as how a new '09 vehicle would show today on the showroom floor, except it is still an '03. Well, late '03 bought in early '04 that is, being the build #6819 of #8xxx built.

Absolutely a virgin and unmolested fresh canvas Terminator at 4,875 miles on the odometer as of today. Leave it alone as is and drive it 100,000 miles plus with supposedly good reliability (I have seen pictures of one with 230,000 miles somewhere on this board), or modify it a little bit further knowing it is a great starting base. Barely broken in and never abused is a great foundation with any forced induction vehicles.

Thanks for the good luck. I am currently talking with a military person who is currently deployed in Iraq and due back home to our land in a couple of weeks. If we do proceed with the deal, then he is going to be one happy man. Being back home safe with an excellent Terminator is going to excite any military man! One thing for sure is that I will miss her dearly with myself being on the other end of the deal if so. It is just a basic necessity for me in life at this point of time.

I told him that the USA flag has always hung from my rearview mirror since the first day I got it (true). That if he buys it, it is going to stay there with the car for him, unless he wants something else hanging on there. He and the others in military is why I am able to do the things I do here in America.

Thank you for your support Norm! Good luck with the sale.

BTW Does it still have the warranty?

Jeff
