I don't play the hp/$$ game anything else. There is always someone faster who takes this street racing and track racing thing alot more serious then someone else.......and wins.

fact is Chris, for the amount of power your car has, it should be faster. you can have 850hp and still lose to a Z06 on nitrous.

Edit: how the **** am i talking shit? unless you really think you had a chance against the Z06 on nitrous, in which case you need to get your head out your ass, and come back to reality, and realize a Z06 on nitrous is faster than your car. which is exactly what happened in the video in this thread.

And this is why roll racing is gay. take it to the track.

I'm kinda confused here, the cars are 20,000 dollars apart in price...so if the gt500 puts 20k into his car i'm thinking he would be more hen a match for the vette.

the Z06 is 3-4 times less than a reg murc lambo, but it performs just as well STOCK, 2 times less expensive than and a Ford GT with 98% of its performance...now what does your arguement mean? your seriously arguing about 20k when the Z06 beats out the europeans for 2-4x less? WTF.

the sad thing is, most people measure the "better" car by which one is faster in a straight line. there are a ton of people crying about roll racing, but most of you guys forget that a c6z would brutalize a gt500/cobra in virtually any type of racing outside of straight line pulls. most of you folks should be happy that these races dont require the use of brakes or suspension.

I like both cars, each have their own positive attributes. when it comes to roll racing, the gt500 will need 150whp+ to simply stay in the game against a c6z. ask me how I know this :coolman:

the rematch should be very interesting. i think the z will need a cam and headers to remain unbeaten.

the Z is same league perfomance wise as those cars STOCK...FOR 2-3 times less money, you dont have to PUT XXX amount of $$$ to keep up-its ALREADY their..handling, braking, acel.. thats a HUGE difference bro, thats why the Z gets so much respect b/c it does all that with a warranty :rolling: and thats why theirs a difference between my point and yours-stock vs. modded...hell anything can be fast modded-WHO CARES

No where near 20K invested in my car, not even half that! Not to mention I only paid $40K for it, with 400 miles on the clock, it's an 08 completely loaded including navigation and HIDs.
