look at my other vids on streetfire. yes i have all the factory exhaust manifolds. i'm debating on whether or not to get headers and take out the cats, but don't know how bad the smell would be

unless you always race for money slow vette, why hide your mods??? your not fooling anyone saying an intake only Z can keep up like that with a 650rwhp viper. Just admit you have something else under the hood.....u dont have to say what it is exactly but admit its more then just an intake.
honestly, i didn't think i would do this good. hell my friend was the one who set it up because he thought i might have a chance. i told him their is no way i'll win, he just has to much more power. i think maybe something is wrong with that Viper.:??: i mean when do you those types of mods, you really have to know what your doing, including the tune, and maybe even the driver. i'm not the best driver, but he only pulled when i was in my poweband and never when i was shifting. maybe i was shifting faster than him:??:

that would be a good idea, however he raced a 540ish bolton nitrous c5z and put 2-3 cars on the c5

it was one car to 160. it was heads up all the way until 140 where he stuck 5th, and i was still in 4th

Well I have a hard time believing this since my car is an 06 with exhaust and turned better times than a new Z. Also the 08 having a hundred HP on my car stock. Not calling you a liar it's just not seen thats all.
Im sorry but if this was really an h/c 08 viper it should be more then half a car length. Must have been a stock 08 with exhaust work.

I have a friend who owns a viper with 650 rwhp and it kicked C6Z06 ass with intake like no tomorrow (4 car lengths). Not saying that you are lying but perhaps the Viper doesn't have the mods it was supposed to have.
Not that I am in any position to speak for anyone else on the board except myself--but I hope you (slovette) aren't taking this personally/aren't taking this as sour-grape-talk, etc. It's just that it literally makes no sense that an intake-only c6z -- basically a stock car -- is able to do what your car does. We're forced to either accept that you have a statistical oddity (your car is quite the outlier) of an engine, or that there is more to your car than you are letting on. And the latter is just so much more fun and interesting to explore, because it allows me to do this:

i understand where everyone is coming from, because i would call BS on it too. fact is the viper does have those mods, now maybe the car was not set up right? another fact is, i thought he would beat me bad, but didn't. does anyone know how fast a viper with 650rwhp would trap in the 1/4?
another thing is, he ended up 2 1/2 cars ahead to 160. we flew by in the vid around 140. so for that viper to pull 2 cars on me in a 20mph span is impressive to me because that means it has massive top end over me.
