the 2008 Hennessey Viper had bolts on only. no heads and no cam, so......
as far as i know nobody has cracked the computer on the 2008+ vipers (gen 4), so that means no heads and no cam in the aftermarket yet ;-)
seeing how that viper barely beat that vette i bet that he has bolt ons only with no heads or cam

lol it does look even stronger. Looks like mine will be finally all back together later this month or right after the new year. It's at Modular Powerhouse right now after the first built motor blew due to who knows what.

it usually takes about 100 more hp in a cobra to keep up with a C5/C6 vette.
a minor bolt on 400hp C5Z will win against a pulley, bolt on high 400/low500hp cobra

lol True but you said no one has cracked the ECUs on the 08+ Vipers tho. You cant just put TTs on a Viper and not be able to tune it.
But yes There are no H/C Packages fo rteh 08+ Vipers. The new Cam set-up on the Vipers are tricky.

Not saying i don't believe you only lost by a car, but video was kinda weird only thing you can really see is a fly by. Here in my town we throw on the hazard lights so our buddies behind us can see who won, so was he letting out of the throttle and you weren't? 650hp is a lot compared to a vette's hp with just intake! I think you should run him again and get a better video like from a dig or 30 roll! not hatin on ya man just kinda a weird outcome there! Did he miss a gear?

I was unaware that there were any aftermarket cam-in-cams out there?
Also, I don't think the computer has been cracked, so you'd need something like a Motec to control things.
Not saying this car doesn't have it, just haven't heard of anything on the market.

they were from a C5. and we ran multiple times with the same outcome. he was still on it because he hit brakes and i hit brakes as soon as he did. the viper did win
