eh I never have been a fan of blower wine, I like to hear some motor, I raced a 2010 camaro as in he was in the lane next to me during test and tune, had a blower with 8 pounds and a cam and it sounded great, the cam really added to the sound, had that muscle car dont **** with me idle, it was great

Honestly that many cubes blown and spray and only that power I am sorry in the real relm of what other cars are doing these days I am not impressed... A Cobra can do that with out the spray and 281-283ci. I am more impressed greatly with the nelson red ZR1 on very low boost putting down 900rwhp

LOL... you are an idiot. I work on LT1 vehicles because I know the vehicle, I have a mockup vehicle and engine mock stand, and there is really no competition in the turbo LT1 market. Doesn't sound so nut swingerish anymore does it. My LT1 would rape the shit out of your cobra vert.

Im surprised your even online, with your incredible knowledge of LT1's and your charming personality that i'm picking up just from reading your posts.. I'd assume that you have a line out your door at your shop (home) people waiting months to have you build them something on your mockup vehicle (broke down car on jackstands)... You may consider working on other cars though, so your market isnt limited to 20 year old cars with their power/rust ratios.. This would require an education, and a piece of humble pie... Most technicians i know, dont flame other manufactures or different types of Motors, probably because they know each of the motors potential, and money is money. You are definately a unique mechanic..

Nor does it take 125,000 dollars to make 1100 HP with an LSX. Just like any other dealer who does cars like the one posted, it's a way for a dealer/aftermarket company to turn some dollars just like Hennessey/Shelby does. The bad thing is that some people actually pay these prices when they could build the same car for a fraction of the cost.
Oh and btw the same 900 hp ZR1 that you are impressed with also costs 120,000+ dollars. Sure you could build a cobra to be faster for less, but that is a dumb argument.
True. The 2+2 Camero/Mustang were always classified as "Pony Cars," not true "Muscle Cars." Does this mean the Mustang is the last surviving "Pony Car"?

I have been on this site for 6 years, I am definitely a car enthusiast. Helped my brother with his 93 mustang (heads/cam/bolt-ons/n2o) and 2 of my close friends own cobras (97 and 99 cobra).
I didn't rag on any other manufacturers or any other motors. Never said the 4.6L was a bad motor. I am definitely not a mechanic by trade, but could easily do the job of one. Here is the education part you are missing, I am an engineer for a medical company, and used to be an engineer for a marine engine company. Cars + building turbo kits are my hobby.

That's what happens when you are limited by a little blower. That motor will support bigger numbers than that if it had more air.
I actually am not a fan of the looks of the new camaro, it is just funny how a vid is posted in this open section (open to any vids), and some of you guys trash the car because it is a new camaro. If it were a vette, mustang, or viper, you guys would be giving eachother handjobs.
Not sure any 2010 camaro owners even posted in this thread, so you point doesn't apply. Congrats to ford on the new 5.0L, about time... and a step in the right direction. Those 5.0's are the least of my worries though.
