I run the H&R race springs with factory isolators. Not sure what affects ride height.. also have a qa1 kmember, steeda offset stearing rack bushings, steeda x2 balljoint, steeda bumpsteer, and MM c/c plates.

When my valve guides and seals were bad mine would smoke on startup for a few seconds like 3 out of 5 times I started the car. Did not matter on temperatures of motor or how long it had been not running. Hope that helps, never noticed any oil type smoke while driving.

I do carry it in the winter more often. I'm just a smaller framed guy and in the summer in vegas it's much easier to not print with the shield.
