I hate to do this but winter is coming and my winter truck just broke down. So I have to list my dream truck for sale, its a 2002 true blue lightning near stock with 48k on the clock.
I bought this truck with just over 45k on it in august of this year from a older man. The current mods are...
Well I'm about to order my pulley I'm going with a LFP quick change w/ 4/6# pulleys, SCT2400 and a Amazon SCT tune. Well it does get somewhat cold here in the fall (truck is stored around end of October through April) and even with the good tune and the MAF still not planning to run the 6lb...
Well I have done a little looking at my truck the owner was an older guy who was the second owner and new about very few of the mods.
Well I noticed it has a tranny pan with a drain it says ford and appears to be aluminum any idea what pan this is? Well my other question is regarding if I have...
I'm looking too make my calipers look a little better but I'm really trying steer clear of painting. What I think I'm going to do is try too polish them, anyone do this or have a process to do this?
Thanks, Jake
Is anyone using their interceptor gauge I really like the look of it and it seems very practical? Also if your using it I would like to see a picture of your set up.
Thanks,Jake
Well I haven't really had time too measure my lower pulley(just picked it up today), but I think it has a lower i'm unsure of the size though. I think this because of two reasons: 1 being it had Tr6's in it gapped at .38 and 2 being it almost immediately pegs the stock boost gauge at WOT and...
Ok, this is another pulley thread and yes i've searched extensively. Going to be picking up my lightning this week and am planning on getting the pulley bought and ready to go on when I get the truck. Now i've been deciding on the age old question 4 or 6 lb, I really want the 6lb and think this...
Im looking at a smaller travel trailer (not 5th wheel), and was wondering if others pull one and what size it is? I'm really looking for something around 19-22ft which I think would be fine but just looking for input from others?
Thanks,Jake
Well I just bought my lightning today a 02 true blue, now im looking to get some deep dish black with a chrome lip style wheels. What i'm really looking for is some FR500 style wheels does anyone know of anything like this that will work on a Lightning.
Thanks, Jake
Im look for a Lightning in the my local area (around Minnesota and surrounding states) pretty much open to anything 99+ with less then 50k.
Thanks, Jake
Im looking for a Lightning currently and been doing a lot of research now seems as thought the easiest way to run low 12's high 11's is a twin screw. But it looks as though some are running low 12's without a twin screw; what does it take to get say a 2000 to run in the low to mid 12 range w/o...
Well ive been looking a lot at 01+ trucks, but Ive found a very low mile 2000 for a very good price. I know all the differences but my question is after driving many 01+'s would I be disappointed with this 2000?
Thanks, Jake
I have noticed not many people on here only use an upper when using a lower. My stupid question is whats the reason for this can you not do just an upper and get results? I'm coming from the terminator background where an upper gives awesome gains.
Thanks, Jake
