I think its probably exactly the gtlm wing and front splitter on a standard GT, with all the active aero removed of course to be a sub 3k pound track day monster, will certainly be considerably slower in a straight line but put out lap times close to the Senna. I also assume exact same engine

It’s need a lot more power to run with the Senna.

Would need more aero/tire with more power to be faster than the Senna but a street GT with the original sub 3k lbs and gtlm aero it would be very close. The power isnt that important.

Sorry man, gotta disagree. The Senna already has what you just describes + and additional 150+ RWHP.

Just ask the Ford GT racing team if power is important. They get murdered coming out of slow corners vs. the competition because they are way down on HP.

Still a bloodbath

Wild guess, I think MM will offer a post title GTLM retrofit/tribute package for GT owners. If you so choose, you could send your car in, and MM would modify it accordingly to mimic the race cars, while still retaining all the street cars creature comforts.

Those guys do becuase they are running 480ish hp with full aero plus slicks which is far far less than what the chassis wants. Assuming this car is what I think it is the 630hp is pretty nicely matched on dot tires. A lot depends on what track, like at le sarthe you would be correct the higher power will make a big diff. On the majority of other tracks, not so much.

Just had this discussion with the north american Radical representative and the 667hp Rxc spyder is no faster than the 400hp SR8 in a very similar chassis.

Also, thats my point, they get murdered out of the corners but how different are their lap times? Not very

I've been waiting for this car for over a year with my lips sealed. Not long now...

You slick son of a bitch, you! Knew you were getting one as you mentioned but not this! I actually thought you were getting the satin black one that someone posted in another thread just by chance. I believe my buddy Mike is going to be your liaison from Ford for your car. We went to high school together.

It’s hard to get excited about a car that 5 people are going to get and be worth half a million dollars. Thanks for the memories Ford.

Okay, go be disappointed by yourself then, no one cares. What do you do about the other thousands of the cars on the road you cant afford? Do you bitch about them too or are you just looking for a reason to be a sourpuss over the success of the FGT?

Your right. Ford should build more cars for John Cena and Kim Kardashian. Those are the true Ford enthusiasts. I am soooo excited to see this car..... said almost no one. Good job ford.

I agree and I gotta believe it’s the V6.
It looks amazing and obviously performs. I can understand why they choose the TTV6 for the class but to many enthusiasts a V8 is important.
Can’t wait to see this version still!
