My biggest issue is, I live alone so I generally always went out to the movies and my regular hang out spots to relax and kill time and visit friends. Can’t do those anymore so being at home starts to get really lonely.

Got an Xbox or something and a mic? Haven't been playing much lately but how I keep in touch with friends that moved away over the years. Used to play like a hour a day at night and catch up with everyone. We should get a new SVTP xbox/ps thread going. Even if you're not good and not your thing, pour a drink and laughes ensue.

On a sad note my Girl's Mom who works at the hospital I mentioned earlier in the thread had her test come back positive this morning. She was already on hydroxychloroquine for pre-existing health issues so I guess that's not 100% effective. Hoping for the best.

I do have an Xbox but I haven’t really played it for a very long time. I can’t seem to play games with a controller, more often a keyboard and mouse guy here. That is a nice idea to get connected with people though!

I am sorry about your girl’s mom bud. I think they were saying that medication combined with that other medication showed effectiveness. Plus, is she showing big symptoms or just mild?

My apt building isn’t pet friendly unfortunately. That would have been nice actually!

Thanks guys, I was a little defensive in earlier (now deleted by mods) posts but when you have family and friends in harm's way numbers dont matter it's a lot more real. Hoping she pulls though and develops the antibodies and goes back to helping people like she loves. Unfortunately due to Lupus and some other things she's already immune comprised. Great lady, cant say enough good things about her.

She's a live a in care giver for her mother (GF's G-Ma) and thank God her sisters have stepped up and taking that over while she is in quarantine.

So far she just feels like absolute shit, no taste, no smell but can take care of herself. Just hoping it doesnt get to the point my girlfriend sees the need to go there... I'm spending my time between my house, her place (not where her mom lives) and my Dad's just trying to keep everyone sane. Real bad if her or I get it.

I started playing Fortnite with my son, brother and a couple of nephews. If anyone else plays and wants to get together on there let me know. Just be forewarned I'm terrible.

I’m taking over the Commonwealth,
Fallout 4. ( yeah I’m a bit late, I buy my games when they’re on sale and a couple years old)

Figured I'd update, GFs Mom is doing "well" and might be back to work on Monday. Which is crazy considering 2 week quarantine but I guess health workers are so in demand as long as you wear a mask you're good.

Happy but still worried she'll work herself to death.

CDC recently issued guidance for essential workers that had been exposed/tested positive. Im glad she recovered so quickly.

My friend is still in the hospital, thankfully fever is subsiding and lungs are improving. She's had some other complications so probably a few days to go but doc is satisfied with her progress (tomorrow makes a week I believe). She was freaking the hell out because 3 people in her little area of the hospital died in the last 36 hours.
