Get yourself a foam cannon to go along with that pressure washer. You'll use very little water per wash using that with the two bucket method.

This is why I asked if you were washing with it or just rinsing. It seems like you will extend the life of the resin by using it as a rinse only.

Well with all the changes I am making, pre-filter, rinse only with the CR system, pressure washer I would think my total wash count will increase dramatically

Thanks.

waiting on my new resin to come and sunjoe didnt include the wand that screws into the handle with the trigger on it.
Just took care of getting that sent to me.
So its going to be a while before I can update on the CR spotless system but I am making major changes on how I do it.
First I am using a pre filter out of my rv
This knocked the TDS count down by about 100 so that theres less crap being filtered by the resin.
I will only use the CR system for a final rinse
I bought a sunjoe xp3000 pressure washer to cut down the amount of water being used.
Add all this up I would expect to triple my washes from 4 to at least 12 to 15

Did my fifth wash but I believe using it the right way to extend the use of the resin. Got the power washer in from amazon and my new resin came in so I am back in business.

I will no longer use the CR system doing:

-washing and rinsing the wheels when cleaning
-filling the wash/soap bucket with CR water
-getting the car wet to wash it

What I have done to increase washes are:

-bought a Sun Joe 1.7 gpm 3000 pwr washer
-use regular tap water for soap bucket
-get the car wet for washing using regular water from the well
-final rinse only using the CR system

I am using the CR system and power washer for areas that alot of grit builds up IE bottom of the outside doors, that plastic area, and I quickly spray off all four wheels

Ive also incorporated my water filter for our RV( you will see it on top of the CR system) and ordered and received new filters and using it as a pre-filter. It does help because using it and running water through the CR system without the resin cartridges my TDS count dropped by 100 pts. It went without the pre filter 550-630 to 290-430

You add up less usage, pre-filter and pwr washer I hope that all adds up to at least 15 washes before resin is spent.

How are you liking the pressure washer?
I’m thankful to have great tap water in Ohio. But we also have winter, so there’s that.

Love it as long as I get the amount of washes I need to justify it
As stated in a post above I've done a lot to make the changes to get the extra washes:

pre-filter behind CR cut the TDS by at least 100
pressure washer using much less water
mainly use CR for rinse

So all of this added together I'm hoping for 15 washes or better

So I have hard water too, wondering did you look into softening all your household water vs just for car washing?

We supposedly have a good system for our well. CR support had me do a TDS count. You remove the resin filters and hook the canisters back up and run the water without the resin.
My count was 550-630

My fifth wheel has a small filter that for the hell of it I decided to hook it up as pre-filter with a old filter. The TDS count went from above to 300-450, a significant drop. So I now use the pre- filter with a new filter, a pressure washer to cut the amount of water used and primarliy use the CR system as a final rinse only

On wash number 1 so time will tell

Just thinking here, worth the mention.

Waterless Car Wash would be something to check out too.
Maybe 3 Waterless washes and than every 4th wash use your CR set up

I really didnt know what a waterless car wash. Had heard about but did no research. Well looked into it and your right. Especially with a second car that I am adding to the stable and is black. The waterless car wash will come in handy.

Im glad we had that private talk and got things straightened out. I appreciate the help.
