I would have someone else test the alternator. The two major reasons for the flickering are a bad battery (which you replaced) and a bad or failing alternator.

The land of commies and socialists!
Start checking your grounds and also your switch on the dash.

If you don't know the headlights for these cars all pull from the engine bay fuse box. That harness has its own grounds. If they are corroded that can easily be your problem.

The connection for that harness from the cabin is in the fender and you may want to check the connector.

Not sure where you got the alternator tested, but those bench testers they use at parts stores don't have the ability to trigger individual diodes and can show a failing alternator as one that passes. Just went through this last summer with my daily. All lights flickering as you say. I was sure the alternator was bad (and it was), but two different chain stores said it was good. Baffled, I called a close relative who used to manage a Firestone in town and he let me in on that bit of information about bench testers. Only a dealership will have the tester/capability to do a complete test. Food for thought.

If no wiring has been touched recently, and this includes by rodents, then the alt is likely the culprit.

Flickering dash/headlights has always been a bad alternator, for me anyway. It's happened twice on last cars I've owned.

Ground from battery terminal to radiator support..

Mine burned inside casing.

Yep.

I think some missed that his issue is not just with the headlights. The flickering is with the headlights, dash lights, and taillights. I'm not saying that it isn't a ground issue, but the primary culprit when all of the lights are flickering is the alternator. So again, have the alternator checked by another shop. If it still checks out fine, then move to locating a short, which will take more time.
