Irish choke it away again…

Different coach, same story. Interesting thing I see is it looks like the talent level is getting better for ND. Last 30 years they usually get blown out in these types of games.

They still have a chance to redeem themselves by running the table including beating USC. If they loose that game it will be another lost, over hyped, and disappointing season.

It's a shame because ND has OSU and USC both at home this year. I'll keep my chin up until the usc game.

On a side note the wife is happy....she graduated from OSU

They had 8 in coverage and still gave up the pass play to the goal line. It was a great game but poor execution let them down as usual.

Great game last night. Congrats to OSU, I have to say I was pissed with 40 seconds left before the half and they kneel with two time outs, can’t play conservative against OSU. As well as 3rd and 24 after the grounding call, the poor coverage letting OSU get to the 1yrd line.

I honestly think Notre Dame is heading in the right direction, I hope Freeman can get some more talent and I much prefer Freeman over that jackass BK. I still think come Monday Notre Dame should be ranked higher than Alabama but I doubt it.

Notre Lame with the gag juice. WTF.

They blew it in the end but I’d hardly say Notre Lame it was a great game and good football. Yes they blew it in the end but it wasn’t a blowout like typical when they play high caliber teams.

I agree. I'm just that guy who has wise ass nicknames for sports teams.

It is nice to see Colorado win some games again but everyone with half a brain knew Oregon was gonna curb stomp them.

Yeah, I wanted to see Colorado win again, but knew it was unlikely because Oregon is tough. Didn't help Colorado that Travis Hunter was out. They still would have lost big, but it might have been a tad closer.

Inform the sports media and commentators alike that it takes more than a big mouthed coach to make a good team. Maybe if they took their lips off his ass they'd see the reality of it all. Growing up I remember the Philly fans cheering loudly when he was carted off the field after a big time hit and I can see why people root against such a clown. He's not in the swac anymore. This is an actual league and not a joke.

Agree completely. The media buzz is crazy for a team that is going to get their asses kicked week after week against tier 1 competition. They have to play USC this week. It will be another blood bath.

Great game last night at Notre dame. They outplayed us the entire game and have nothing to be ashamed of. Osu struggled. Ended up going to the game from Wisconsin. Stadium was bonkers loud and then all of the sudden—silent.

Not sure you can say they outplayed us. Sure, we didn't look like we usually do on offense, mainly because our QB is new and still settling in, but the OSU defense was stout. Not one big play, which was a HUGE issue last season in every single game. Also, on the last drive dudes made plays.

Once again, Ohio against the world!

Media and analysts acted like ND was just too much for Ohio State to handle this year. ND does have a good team this year, i'll give them that, but the last time ND beat OSU was 1936. Damn, OSU just beat ND last year and a few years ago in a bowl game OSU beat ND. The list keeps going. The change in narrative before the game was insane.

The end of the game wasn't luok either. McCord, after this technically being is second start since the other 2 games were split with Devon Brown. A bunch of clutch 3rd and long conversions and 4th down conversions . The 3rd and 19th was the play that led them to the goaline plays was what gave thema chance to win. I admit, I did not see a run coming since any play you choose, that was your last one with time left with as little as it was. I've never seen Ryan Day the way he was in the post-game interview. Right out of the gate hes said, "Where is Lou Houltz?!?!), and began just answering everything with toughness. Ryan Day is great!

Overall, from when ND held OSU in their 4th down conversion til the very end was extremely thrilling and exciting to watch.

I always tell people even if they’re not Notre Dame fans to go it’s a scenic place. Hope you had a good time. My youngest and I where there last weekend.

What position do you play? That said it was a damn good game and came down to the very end. Notre Dame played a lot better than i expected they kept temp till the end imho.

Well, I don't play for the team. However, I'm an alumnus and donor. I pull for my alma mater.

ND fans can now crawl back into their holes for another 35 years (1988 was their last natty).

Lol too funny we, and you don’t play for the team I can tell that struck a cord it’s cool lol I already knew it’s been that long thanks for reminding me and trying to give me a history lesson I already knew lmao did you learn that at OSU? It was a good game and Notre Dame played them good OSU definitely didn’t dominate it was a good game. But whatever floats your boat buttercup. We will see how tough OSU is if they can get past PSU and Michigan this year.
