You see the set of used 00R wheels on BaT that sold for $6,300? Not sure what the Buyer's premium on small items like this is, but it's probably at least 5%, which brings the sale to $6,600 or so. Looks like 00R parts are going way up with the recent increase in values. A parted out 00R is probably worth more than the entire car as a whole. Yikes!

I need to make some room in the garage, so if anyone wants to pay me $6,600 for a brand new set of Ford factory 00R wheels in factory boxes, please let me know :)

I gave $1600 for a set back in 2009 that I threw on a 2004 Cobra convertible. Obviously I should've kept them haha

I do have a brand new set in factory boxes collecting dust. Had no plans on selling, but would probably do so if offered what we just saw on BaT. My luck would be as soon as I sold them, I would take the R out for a ride and dent a wheel only having to buy them back for more ;)

Are we related? That's how my luck works.

I bought 5 of them for $550 here locally just a couple months ago. They are not mint, but not trashed by any means. No center caps either. I put them on my postage scale for shits n giggles. 29 Lbs!
Oof.
Imagine the improvement in the 00R with some proper lightweight wheels.

I haven't look at the ad but a lot of people sell 95 and 00 R rims as "original R rims". They confuse REAL R rims with those offered for years in Ford Motorsport/Racing. Unfortunately, buyers also think they are getting ultra rare rims and pay up.

I believe the ones that just sold were taken off of an actual 00R.

I assume the Ford Part # should be the same, so It's probably hard to tell the difference. The ones that just sold were apparently take offs according to the seller.

I don’t think they were original take offs. If they were, that would’ve been very clear and a build number would’ve been specified.
