It’s because if I rememeber xorrecty
And it’s been a while
Since I had my cobra but the 96-97 IMRC’s are made of metal and the the 98’s are a composite.
Awesome man. I sold my fox 2 years ago and bought a S550 GT. It’s worlds ahead of the older cars. I also have the Recaros in mine and thought they would be stiff but. I like them. So far I’ve done a clutch, shifter, catback, jacking rails and catch can to mine and she drives like a dream.
Well coupe rear seatbelts, coupe rear seat foam, maybe for a company to make a replacement cowl section since damaged ones are common. Why there is only one company making replacement coupe 1/4 windows after all these years.
I agree that the aftermarket is huge
And its better than ever for...
I know what you mean. I used to be really active on here but I sold my 98 cobra. Bought a fox body and I had that for a few years and sold in this fall to purchase my current 2015 GT. Vehicles look good.
I had my 98 cobra for 7 years with most of them being daily driven and 6 of those being supercharged. Not once did I ever have any sort of issues with the T45. Everyone used to tell me it would break but I never launched the car and it didn’t have drag tires.
With that being said IF you don’t...
They have all been different. I do miss the simplicity and rawness of the Foxbody. But my vortech 98 cobra was prob my fav because it was a blend of power and comfort. I havnt driven this one a bunch and it’s still stock but I’m sure it’ll be at the top.
Thanks guys. It actually has less miles 64K I was looking at the wrong thing. It’s going to be my nice weather/weekend car. I have another vehicle to daily. It’s stock besides the wheels. It’s a non PP car so I’d like to add a few things to it.
I understand about not selling the fox. I put a...
Sold my fox coupe a few weeks ago for a down payment. Finally brought this home today. Love it so far. Premium GT with the factory 3.55 option and Recaro’s.
I would first get some sort of scanner or take it somewhere to check codes. Find out why it’s running rough. Then go from there. It very well may need the IMRC’s cleaned and there is a way to test that they are working properly just search on here.
I have a shifter handle like above. The only thing I don’t like is that it puts your elbow a little more rearward than I’d like.
Welcome to the club. My first car was a 93 GT I bought after boot camp in 01. Skip to present day and I now have a 1990 lx coupe I tinker with and enjoy.
I d
i did order them from LMR. I haven’t installed them yet. I’m going to also try and make my own map pocket deletes. Just have to get the vinyl tomorrow.
