I know it's a gm question haha, I'm fixing this vehicle for a friend, thought somebody may be able to help me, it's a 2.4L twin cam engine in a 98 sunfire, the car has a oil pressure issue, it was ran for a extended period of time with the oil light on, I know haha:bash: She said it was on for...
How many people run their maf clocked at the stock position after installing a aftermarket cai or rai. I've currently got mine still clocked in the 12 oclock position that the k&n wants you to install it. I'm running a 2.76 that 's tuned just wondering if it has any gains or downfalls if it's...
Seen this kit on innovates website, but just wondering if there is anywhere that sells these for a better deal $290.00, or if someone has a used one they may also chime in. Any comments also on this wideband if it's good at all or not.
Was just wondering if there is any boost that is dumped after new tune on the car. Just switching the lines to see if there is a increase, just curious if anyone has ever done this to see if it would make any difference. Usually the new tune from a tuner should turn the boost bypass...
I just dyno'd my car with a 91 octane tune, and my numbers were weird, the stock baseline was 421 rwhp with 396 hp stock with catback, midpipe, and intake stock tune. Upgraded to a 2.76 pulley and with the new tune, and dyno'd it, I gained 61 rwtq but the hp didn't really gain much. I got final...

tomorrow i'm going to hit the dyno and swap out my stocker pulley and see what the 2.76 billetflow can spin up. I'm not too sure what to expect but i've read lots so hope i'm not disappointed with numbers. I got a amazon tune so I should be in good hands haha. Right now i am on stock boost...
I am looking for a real stock looking position for my wideband guage that I will be getting. I want the one that replaces the stock guage surround for a aftermarket 1 that accomadates only 1 guage. But show me all pics of whatever you got, and where do you buy it.
I am not sure of what the torque is for the blower and lower intake bolts. Also do you torque the bolts on the front housing that holds the intercooler hoses on the lower intake. If anyone knows could you reply or pm me asap, as i'm needing this to press on to finish my install.
I am a little leary about reusing my lower intake gaskets, one side has a wavy rubber section from taking the blower and intake off. I pushed it back in, and it doesn't look bad, just wondering if anyone else feels the same as me, i'm just worried about vaccume and intake leaks now Should be...
I'm wondering torque specs on these bolts on the billetflow snub idler, also i'm missing the shorter bolt that goes streight down into the engine to bolt it down anyone know the size of the bolt and legnth, I believe it's a metric thread bolt, but if anyone could let me know that would be great...
I'm looking to do a baseline on my stock boost cobra, then dyno it again and use the custom tune for stock boost, then swap pullies and use the pulley tune. Is it possible to have the 2 performance tunes in the tuner, along with the stocker that it locks itself to when you connect it. Also I...
I've got a puller from 1 of my friends from his grand prix, I think it' will work, but want opinions, it's made by pulley boys or something like that, but let me know asap thanks.
Just got my xcal 2 and was reading the instructions and noticed it said to pull the fuses on the fuel pump and the cooling fans, this seems odd, is this a mandatory thing, or does nobody even bother with this.
Just looked at cobrabobs belt sizing chart and was wondering if the stock I believe 75" belt work with my setup, or is it recommended to run the 74.5, I just don't want it too tight, it's hard on bearings, but just need an opinion.
Just purchased this unit, and wondering what is the total time you took to complete this, and possibly any little tricks or things you might want to post up to make things easier. If anyone has pics that would be great.
The innovate lc1 wideband that i'm looking at is used, the seller says it reads funny at idle and sometimes hangs up at like 20:1 and won't move, or fluctuates, but reads correct at idle, what do you think. I have searched and seems like it could be a ground issue or calibration, but just wanna...
Well I finally ordered the rest of the parts that i've needed for my pulley swap. I ordered a tune, cooling mod, and tuner from Amazon today. Very nice to deal with I may add. I will be adding a 2.76 pulley and idler, can't wait to see how it feels, and see what it puts down on the dyno. But...
