03-04 Cobra Seats -- which had the embroidered Cobra logo?

Doing a google search for either 03 or 04 Cobra's - it pulls up images of the seats WITH and WITHOUT the Cobra logo embroidered in the seat backs.

We have an 04 set we are patterning here at the shop , and they do NOT have the logo. But a google search shows plenty of 04's w/ the snake in the seat backs...

Was this simply an upgrade in the trim package? Or were there direct dividing lines/dates for this option??

Any help would be great - hope to have the Cobra, Bullit & Mach 1 seats ready near the first of 2012!!

I never really paid much attention. I always thought all the 03-04 seats had the cobra in them.

Do a quick google search and you'll find the evidence to the contrary... hence why i'm trying to find clarification. We are going to get licensed to use the logo either way - but would like to have the proper year break down if there is one.

I think it wasn't an option. They all had the cobra embroidered on the seats. The only ones I'm not sure of is the 10th anniversary edition.

All the images that I see when I google have the Cobra on them. It really doesn't show up well in the photos with the light inserts. As far as I know they all have them

upon further investigation I've come to the conclusion i need to go see an eye doctor... lofl.

What i was seeing was poor pictures of the Med. Graphite seats - the pictures were too light and it made the logo appear to be nonexistent in several photos. Sorry to waste your time!

We will , however, be offering the seats with or without the logo for those who want to put these seats into a non Cobra car - the logo could be skipped all together or traded out for a running horse logo - i'll make sure to post up all of the details when they are released!

just because you google searched "03-04 cobra seats" doesn't mean every pic that gets pulled up are actually cobra seats

you can google "sonic blue cobra" and it will pull up 05-09 vista blue mustangs and sonic blue lightnings

Please do!! Looking for a set of Mach 1 replacements:rockon: although those Cobra covers are tempting. Will new seat foams be available as well.

Any 03/04 cobra seat, any package whether 10th anniversary, or mystic, or anything, all had a cobra in the front seats.

I have a drivers upper upholstery if you want it, It is in ok shape but the thin foam on the inside is torn. It would be great to get the exact cobra logo. Let me know and I can send it out free. I will for sure buy a set of 03 covers for a 67 fastback we are building, are you going to leave the upper upholstery without the headrest hole cut in it.

Hey Guys - first and foremost - let me start off by saying that the 03-04 Mach 1 pattern is finished for the Upholstery and the foam (you can view a set we made here: http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m85/mransr/messageboards/2011-12-17_13-46-31_616.jpg) - they haven't been released yet, but soon will be.

Now for the COBRA - the pattern for the upholstery and foam is done - and I've sourced both a uni-suede and the original Alcontara suede - what i'm missing is samples of the original suede's to match them up to - I have a Med. Graphite set in house, but need an original sample of 03/04-Drk Charcoal, 03-Parchment & 03-Red.

The sooner I get these samples the sooner we can release this line - so if anyone could snip even the smallest section of the suede colors above and mail them to me - it would speed this process up considerably!

Thanks for the info on the Mach 1 covers. Just a couple questions though: are the seat foams as soft or firmer than the originals and do we have the option to have the original silver stripe on the seats versus the red pictured? I posted this on Mach1registry.com to generate some awareness.

Thanks man - i appreciate that! The issue with the Mach 1 seats, simply is that the original linkweave is not available (the insert material). What we are going to offer with the new seats, is a leather perforated version of the bolster color. For instance, if you have the original dark charcoal leather/vinyl seat - the insert will simply have to be leather perforated as opposed to the original LinkWeave. The seats will also be available in any other standard interior colors - Med. Graphite / Parchment / etc.. The new foams for the Mach 1 & Cobra will fit on GT frames, so people with stock parchment/med graphite/etc interiors can still rock the new sport Cobra/Mach Seat set up with matching seats.

As for the foams - this is a direct cut/paste from the guy who loaned us his Mach 1 seats and posted those images up on stangnet:
"due to being finding myself in the right place at the right time with the right collection of parts I was able to lend my Mach 1 buckets to TMI so they could make patters of the foam and covers....

I got the seats back Friday and they look (and feel) GREAT!!! much more supple than the OE material...While they had the seats they were generous enough to make my convertible rear seats match the Mach 1 fronts. I had them use a red stripe like the '69 Mach 1 to add a bit of color to the otherwise black/gray/silver interior...now I just need to find a bit of matching red pleather to replace the gray carpet stripe in the door panels

My understanding is that TMI will have the kits out sometime next year. And since the GT uses the same seat frame as the Mach/Bullitt/Cobra, by just changing the foam and covers you can get the Mach/Bullitt/Cobra seats in a GT"
