I sort of have an arguement going on with some friends. I told them with a 1000 bucks you could do pulley, intake, tune and be good for 11's. am I right??? any body have some minimal mods under 1k and good time slips???

biggest issue is driver... one guy might go low 13's while another might hit 11.90's

Yeah a 117 Trap speed stock?? That's an 11.60 with good traction! Maybe that Dragstrip is an extra couple hundred feet, haha!! Just Jokin but that is a strange speed? 12.2 runs should trap about 112..

Yep, biggest factor is the driver and traction off the line. Driver and launch are keys.

my buddy in a stock 03 cobra...i mean bone stock went 12.0 haha i couldnt beleive it and hes a badass driver.

I remember reading that Ford took a bone stock 03 cobra, put slicks on it and ran 11.99.
