03 10th Anny w/V.I.S. Carbon fiber hood

Love the hood. How is the fitment? Is the latch steel reinforced? Do you think it needs pins?

I'd like to do something similar..

Oh yes, how much lighter do you think it is?

Fitment is good for an aftermarket hood. I think it needs a few shims at the hinge to prop the back up and point the front down, but I just wanted it back. The latch isn't steel reinforced, but neither is the stocker, and the frame of the hood appears to be Ford. I hope it doesn't need pins, but we'll find out!

Looks great. Have all the same questions as 03 DSG Snake. And price to? Did not see it on the VIS site.

$709 delivered to my door. Kinda steep, but I was the claimant in an accident, and I took a check from her insurance. I ended up getting all the stuff I wanted, and still made out with some cash!!!!

I don't think I would do it if I had to pay for it, although it is quite a bit lighter.

The headlights are from mustangtuning.

The hood was $709 shipped (kinda expensive), but there was NEVER any spinners on the car.

Just go the car back from the body shop after a minor front end collision. Got an O.E.M. front bumper with no license holes in it, larger Cobra Emblem and the hood. What do you guys think???

That is just absolutely 100% pure sexy!!! i am in love with your car. The black on the hood really brings out the black interior. I am not one to purchase wrecked cars but.....let me know if you sell that thing in the future.
