Whats an R Title? Was this car totalled and rebuilt?

It has a rebuilt title. Car was hit high on the right side.
The tick can barely be heard after it is warm. It is the same as it was 2.5 yrs ago when I bought it.

It was for sale last year at this time then I decided to keep it. You might be thinking of Strats car, he had a black vert but tan top and inserts. I bought this car from him early 07 then he bought another one.

what does the head ticking generally mean?

You can search on here for info. Car still runs normal just makes an annoying ticking sound at idle. Don't even hear it going down the road. You can get an updated head from Tousley, Last time I checked it was like $660.

how would we check to see if the R title will transfer to tennessee. I know for a fact that a rebuilt KY title wont transfer to TN. (had that problem last year). I am in the market for a vehicle the Head Tick nor the Rebuilt Title bother me. Mongo, when you bring a car with an R/S title to another state you have to go through a special inspection process and fillout a bunch of paperwork, sometimes you have to send pictures in.
