Went to ATCO and judging by my weight (3700) and ET (13.7) that I'm actually putting down ~320 HP. If I could launch better than 1.9 I could trim a tenth or two off.

Then- plugged in my MP3 and cruised home...

ummmm am I missing something. A 5.0 stroker with cams and 410's only running 13.7 and only trapping 101mph? And I dont know about 13.7 with 3700lbs = 320rwhp?

The ET calculator and dyno sheet I have appear to agree- unless you know something I don't.

What do you run with your 1998 Cobra?

Agreed. I've run several 13.2-3's at 103-4mph on a completely stock motor. My car weighed in at 3365 w/o me in it and that was before a few weight reductions. You'd have to weigh 350lbs to get your coupe to 3700!

Try at Cecil. I can't do better then a 2.4 60 and 14.4 at Atco, but do 2.0-2.2 13.5-13.9 all day at cecil..(i need better tires and to lose the chrome 18's)

I'm 6'1" and 265lbs, plus the car had a full tank- so it's close to 3700 like I mentioned.

I'm a bit of a granny shifter, and I tried Autolite 764 Plugs which caused me to trap 2mph slower than the NGK TR-55's which the car likes.

The stock intake is killing the N/A performance, along with the IMRC deletes, but I plan on spraying the car next year to make up for the lousy airflow of the stock intake. Besides- the car will have a auto tranny next year and a real tire.

This is exactly the reason why I refrain from posting here.. everybody has gone faster, harder, qicker, cheaper, nicer, shinier, blah-blah-blah.

I don't think we are trying to get in a pissing contest. We are trying to get to the bottom of your trap speed. Your car has dynod 320 to the wheels. But you granny shift, what rpm do you shift at?

^^Not being rude man, just saying there is something not right. Of course people are going to bust your chops when you post that you ran slower with a camed stroker then most do with stock block and minor bolt ons. We are just saying your car has more potential, thats all (insert beer smiley but not working lolol).

13.2 @ 105 with what I have in sig and powershifting the guts out of it, I do not recomend that though, I need a clutch and tranny now lol. Oh well, they are ment to be driven (insert rockon smiley, still not working lol)

No shift light (Raptor awaiting install) but stock tach says ~6800-7000

And how much (with labor) did it cost you to get back on the road?

My tranny and Spec 2 are fine.

^^They never totaly broke. Still runs strong with 80k on parts. They just need to be replaced sometime in the next year. Here is a race against a mach 1 that ran 13.2 in the 1/4(little slower with the passenger)and this is after I powershifted my car, its to show you it runs fine.....

Stop whinning man. No one is being an ass to you. Its just you need to figure out whats going on with your car. Esp. with a 1.9 60' your times should be way faster with a stroker and cams. Where did you get it done, and is it the original 96-98 teksid block? With a 1.9 60 you should be running in the 12's no problem. It is a modular dohc stroker right?

With fluids and a new/resurfaced flywheel that's what- around $800 MINIMUM, but at least you were 5 tenths and 2mph faster.

Please post up when you throw a rod or spin a bearing, too!
