Any idea how much more HP a boss makes than a regular GT with the same blower setup?
Very little. The heads flow better. But that's not the point. My point is that the internals are stronger. You can make 800 wheel all day and not worry about it. You can't do that with a GT500

I make 708rwhp in mine. You can comfortably make 800 in a GT500, 850 depending on how you drive it. There are plenty of examples out there to support this. I agree you're living on borrowed time, but hell the overwhelming majority of GT500 owners are not driving them like they should anyway.

The boss internals are better, yes but putting a set of rods/pistons in a GT500 isn't all that expensive relatively speaking...especially if you can do it yourself.

You cannot "comfortably" make 800 rwhp on a stock 5.4 GT500. Unless you have an uncomfortably large amount of money in your wallet.
