yeah there is a ford racing/parts block, not much cost difference between that one and a Dart 351 block...I'd do the latter.
@svtfocus2cobra - A 408 (stroked 351) will wake up that Bronco with some good heads and a nice cam. Gas mileage can’t get much worse so why not swap? Imagine your 5.8 pulling a loaded trailer. That’s what a 5.0 would run like.
I have been leaning towards sticking with the stock architecture and just building it, unless @MG0h3 has something in mind that works for both of us. No way Im trading him my tired 351 for his built 408 straight across.
Been looking for a similar year single cab F150 to pick up and probably do a swap of some sorts in. A 96 F150 single cab was the truck my dad had that I remember riding in as a kid.
