That double of what my 7.3 97 xlt extended cab cost new. That crew cab is a rare truck, as I remember them reintroduced in 97

Agree, and I just don't see the collector angle with the mileage.

This dealer specializes in finding low mile or really clean older trucks, but they are out to lunch on this one. I could see $25,000.
BaT would probably be low $30,000 range.
People can (try to) charge whatever they want. Doesn't mean it will sell at that price. Nor does it mean it reflects the market. No real surprise on that listing. This seller is surely not alone in the "let's see what I can get" camp.
