Used seats with scratches is different from a NIB set especially with the tag. Is it worth $5000, thats up to the buyer, maybe a spare set for a R owner or maybe a good display item, something to store away for 10-15 years

The standard black nardo Recaro Sport seats are going to be about $2800, then you have to factor in sliders and bases and you are over $3000. With the R seats, you just add a bit more for the logo, but they are complete and ready to bolt it. If you want quality seats, you have to pay for them.

These "Style" seats in the Topline versions (with heat, fans, and all power) would be well over $4000, just for comparison:
