Those dates are just the Great Lakes Region events.

There are a couple places but lets wait until all the schedules are out to decide where to go as a group. I'd like to see if there is somewhere that we can do car show, open track and racing all on the same weekend so we can get more R models to attend.

its time for me to branch out a bit. ive hit all the midwestern tracks repeatedly, and its about time i started hitting the road too.

i also want to hit the bonneville salt flats next year too.

so my goal for next year is to hit the following tracks:
vir
the glen
nelson ledges
mid ohio
tws
thunder hill/buttonwillow (or maybe an entire west coast sweep - they have a TON of good tracks out there, just not many shelbys/cobras apparently!)

and where the heck was that track dawg challenge talked about? i had no idea about that until i saw the stickers on the cars at putnam park.

if you get to the west coast, you might want to add infinion and willow springs as well.

You guys from up north need to come down and visit us poor folk from Texas!! We have TWS (one of the fastest tracks you will ever run on - top speed-wise) in College Station, Motorsport Ranch in Cresson (south of Fort Worth) which is a really nice purpose built road course, then we have a new MSR track being built south of Houston. There is also Hallet in OK.

How about it?? it would be great to see some of you guys make a trip down to meet US for a change?

Mr. Moderator:

Can this be made into a sticky? Seeing it's nearing the end of the season, I think it's safe for us to start talking about next year's' schedule? I think if we all just copy the text with cut and paste without "quoting" we can add ALL dates for ALL areas of the Country making one huge schedule? Feel free to copy and add the events in your area so we can maybe plan a trip down South next year?

2006 schedule:

March 11, 12 SCMC Carolina Motorsports Park
March 31-April 2 NASA Mid-Ohio
April 7-9 NASA Road America
April 15-16 MFBA Road America
May 19-21 SVTOA Auto-Bahn
June 2-4 NASA Auto-Bahn
June 5&6??? CMR/Phoenix Watkins Glen
June 30-July 2 SAAC National - VIR
July 7-9 NASA Auto-Bahn
July 14-16 NASA Gingerman
July 22-23 SVTOA Gingerman
August 25-27 Northwoods Region SAAC - Road America
September 16-17 SCMC Gingerman
Sept 22-24 Badger Bimmers Road America
October 7-8 NASA Putnam
October 14-15 MFBA Road America
October 28-29 SNW Auto-Bahn

let me check and get back with you. Yes, I am certain there are some events on the schedule for the remainder of this year, either at TWS in College Station, or at MSR in Cresson TX. I will find out and reply back....
