2007-2009 Oxygen Sensors with Longtubes

I chased O2 sensor & extended harness issues for a few months on my'13 with headers. The instant cure ( 3yrs ago) was Ford F150 Raptor O2 Sensors which come complete with longer, thicker Ford harness.

So far so good, another 100 miles on the car and no issues related to the O2 sensors. Seems like the extensions were the devil.

Don't the 11+ have factory widebands though? If so those can't be used with the 07-09 (and maybe 10?) since they use narrow band sensors.

The raptor o2 are wideband as well, but you are correct you can’t use them in the 07 as they require narrowband.

What year GT500 do you have? I tried this on my 2007 and there was not a chance in hell it was going to work. I needed a good 20" of slack to reach my passenger side O2.

Mine is an 08. I followed the 02 wires and loosened all the loomes and hold downs to gain more length.
