I'm in the process of selling my Lightning to buy a GT500, doubt you will hang on to this one very long, but I'm def interested in taking it off your hands :-D
I agree with everyone else... this is a gorgeous car, and the price is cheap. I cannot imagine anyone finding the same car at a dealer for less than $35k, but maybe I'm wrong.
I put my 2500 mile '09 vert FS on here and haven't had one reply. Granted, it isn't stock, but the car smells/looks brand new, and I think low-$40s is fair.
Looking to buy a ZR1, but I'll prob just keep the Shelby.
Ok so my car braved "hurricane" Irene...in my garage under a car cover
Regardless I took it to western New York and back for a conference last week... Have updated the original post with mileage a couple of times, doing it again now.
New price $32888
You won't find an 08 anywhere, for that price.
Hell, any of the ones listed for $3k more than that aren't even as nice!
Do you have it listed anywhere but here? I threw mine on here b/c I'm not as serious about selling mine right now. If I was going to work overtime to sell it, I would have it in Autotrader, cars.com, and list it on EBAY. I sold a nice car on ebay about 2 years ago. Seamless transaction. I bet you could get $35-36k for it too.
I think most of the lookers here already have an SVT vehicle, so you get some who want to trade, but not sure if you get as much traffic as on some other sites.
Seeing as I work for autotrader.com, yea it's posted there and craigslist.
I've bought 3 cars off svtp and sold 2 cars from this site as well. So it does work
Like any car, if you're realistic with your price. Have a fair and honest description, and the car stands up tall with good pictures, has a clean carfax, and you market it well, the car will sell.
I'm really in no hurry. Would i like it to sell? Sure. Will I miss it when it goes? Absolutely. Do I need it to sell asap? Definitely not. The right buyer will come along.
If for some reason someone brings me a bag of cash, My arm could be twisted to sell of course, but I am breaking my trend of a new (to me) sports car every spring, and going ahead and heavily modding this one, by the time I'm done, it will be like a different car.
