Hey guys I figured its better to disscuss this here than researching for hrs online. I'm looking to possibly upgrade from my 07 to a 2011-12 Shebly. I know in 2011 Ford made a couple of changes one being the aluminum block and 10hp+ Hp. But were there any changes from the 2011 to the 2012 model? and before anybody askes about the 2013 at this point I can't afford it. I can get a 2011-12 with under 10k miles for low $40's with the SVT package. Just seems like a better buy. If anybody has thoughts/issues with those models plz like. Thx.

not 100%, but I think the only changes from 11 to 12, were the additional Recaro seat option and the glass roof option.

I believe Glass roof was in the 11 options. I think the only difference are the Recardo's.

There are no engine spec or drive-train changes though.

I have an 11'. I believe the 12's added the ability to change the steering feel - like a Sport Mode also. Pretty much the same car 11-12.

Both are the same except for recaros and glass roof. If your going to mod the car save money on getting PP. Most with that package end up changing suspension anyway. Good luck.

I believe that there was also an imporvement in the cooling for the heat exchanger, but you will want to put Van's on anyhow. Whichever you can get for cheaper is the one you should get.

I got a 12 with the recarro's, totally worth it, those seats look amazing. All things being equal, I'd go with the recarro's!

Yea, I like the PP rims and I definitely want the recarro's.. I'm not going to start changing things.. I tend to change cars every 2-3 years, in the end you never get the money you put into it. Learned that lesson the hard way 10 years ago with a Fox.
