2012 Gt500 low boost

10bs seems low with a 2.5 and a lower. I think I was at 14 with a 2.4 upper. He should be around the same I would think.

He mentions he was seeing 11lbs and also has headers and free flowing exhaust, this can bleed off a couple lbs of boost.

Yes it should free me about 1-2 psi but it’s still a low number.

are these cars the ones that with the "inferred boost" - ie not a real boost gauge? If so how was boost verified?

can you get it to Ford people that can correctly diagnose / tune it? Gotta stop the bleedin somewhere here

I worked on the car myself… and the tuner isn’t a bad tuner just because he doesn’t work at a big name shop…

I would tend to agree with him, if you can get it in with a reputable Ford shop/tuner they can likely sort it out in short order. We're not saying your guy can't get it there eventually but it would probably skip a lot of headaches

Just swap the sensor out. Then you should know if the boost is correct.

I’m in phoenix,az and Im wondering if you know any good performance shops there… I don’t know any because I do all my car work myself lol
