So you think the aluminum is a bad idea?
It was a subtle attempt to show how the words loose and lose are often misused without going full grammar nazi.

Back on point, the sad thing is how hard Ford has worked to keep the price down and yet that effort will erased. And I agree with your points on the Camaro.

I don't think that pricing is right anyways. I don't see how the R will only be 3k over the regular GT350. It doesn't make sense. Plus the option packages seem too high compared to what they were for the 13-14 gt500

EDIT: 13-14 GT500 pricing:
Electronics package - $2,340
SVT Performance Pack - $3,495
SVT Track Pack - 2,995

A total of all those is $8,830 compared to similar options on the GT350 running $14k...Something isn't adding up.

The consensus on the R is that it's 3,500$ on top of the track pack pricing option bringing it to 10K over base price

I received an email from my dealer and he stated that production was running from Oct to Apr. I assume he means for the 2016.

So what's the difference time wise between these 137 at the end of 2015 and the first of the 2016 making it to the dealer?

With the Eco boost and Gt models, it's a $4000 bump for going from the base to the premium.

So does that make the magride a $3500 suspension upgrade?

I could be wrong but I thought ford usually released the mustang in april. so the 17 should be available in april-ish of 2016 which would make the 16my a short run as well and more limited production than if it was a full year run, opening the door for the adm's to continue. also curious as why now they are charging for stripes when it was always included on the gt500. I want a stripe delete so it doesn't affect me but just a thought

Lemers, iirc the 2015 mustang was supposed to cut 200-300 lbs off previous year's weight. We see how that worked out.

I understand what you are saying. But there is a difference. The mustang weight was based on projection and the camaro weight is based on an actual car they are going to show off on 16 May.

I didn't like this last camaro, but I still want to see want they've put together for their next try.

That pricing isn't correct for the 16 GT350. I wish people would stop posting it. And I also can't believe anyone would believe it

There is no way I can see how a Camaro SS would be a better deal than a GT350. The Camaro SS will not have 500 plus horsepower like the GT350 and will not rev to 8200 RPM. The Camaro SS will be playing second fiddle to the GT350. The GT 350 will even make the current Z28 obsolete.

Probably the only thing that will see more additional dealer greed stickers on the window will be the Ford GT.

I never said a Camaro SS is better than the GT350. In any way.

Let me make my point clear. I (meaning me personally) will not pay $60k plus for any car. No matter how great it is.

That being said. What else is there in the $40k to $55k range if I don't get the GT350. The mustang GT or the 2016 camaro SS. I think at least for 2016 the Camaro (if the weight projection is true) with more HP, magride, and compatible weight will be the better of the two.

That doesn't mean ford can't give the GT magride in 2017 with an HP boost.

This is all my opinion based on what little I know about the camaro and price of the GT350 (I really like magride and I don't know why). Who knows maybe by 11 May I will know thata Gt350 will cost less than $60k; and buy one.
